Too many people confused for no reason 😂. Just move the pelvis clockwise and push against the colon from right to left. Where you feel pressure hold and rock back and forth.

I agree with most of the comments. I don’t know what you’re moving and what you’re pressing. There needs to be way more Explanation. Those of us who have never done this before it was difficult. You need to speak to us like we’re Fourth Graders!! .😂

Here is what I see. Moving in a clock like fashion he is thrusting his pelvic and pushing one o’clock two o’clock and so on. Hes pushing on the intestine to wake it up and he’s using the exercise the muscle to do some of the work. Just massage yourself while moving your pelvic a little and feel where it’s not so soft. Pretend your massaging a muscle. That is what I see. Would be nice if he answered though 😕

I find this really helpful Try the following STOP ALL DIARY Add more ginger to your diet..try and make a ginger soda ( plain soda without sugar) Squat for 5 minutes before bowel movement Stand feet apart, hands on hips, rotate hips clockwise for a minute This really helps

Nope...video or no video, I still didn't understand the precise movements required. Precise locations, positions, movements, etc., are necessary and this video supplies very little of that. You sound confident and I felt confident when I started watching, but I lasted 2.25 before realising that I've no idea what real movements are going on, here.

For what it is worth…. I started using near infrared flashlights from temu as part of a personal experiment in “. Red light therapy”. In that context, an unexpected effect was loosening and stimulation of my bowels

The movements need to have some sort of diagram drawing showing what exactly you are doing. As it is it's really difficult to know where to place hands, how hard to apply pressure, it is a rocking motion, or a squeezing motion, etc. Frustrating when you already have the urge to dump one and can't seem to open that gate. What's it called? Peristalsis?

I developed severe constipation when put on 15mg morphine sulphate, had no problem with Percocet but morphine I guess, paralysizes you’re colon so then your a mess! I have stage 3 kidney disease and now I’m taking omeprizole 20mg bid and miralax and bought a squatty potty all for a drug change of morphine😂 this just contributed to my low back pain that’s at a pain level 8-9 already🤷🏿‍♀️ so ty for your videos in helping find solutions to this issue!😮

Or a small bowl of whole oatmeal every morning, a third of a teaspoon of magnesium citrate along with 3 to 6 prunes every night. You go like clockwork every morning. End of story.

I watched this twice and I went through it with you the second time. But I still feel a bit insecure about these movements. I think it would have been helpful if while you were doing the description of where we were at, that maybe there was a graph in a video insert. Also for those of us who are "directionally challenged" 🤣 it would be helpful if you'd mentioned which side of the body that you're on as well. I really appreciate natural healing methods so I will come back again and see if I can get more out of the next time. Thanks

I agree with both comments I ve read. I am a health professional and know. Y anatomy.even for me, his explanations are not clear. However physical. Massage is helpful but you must massage according to the anatomy of the large bowel. A diagram or chart will be helpful. It is a video worth making.

Something else that worked I was in the hosp with the same problem my colon doctor showed this to me as sitting on the comode bend forward hold it then come up straight keep on doing it my bowels moved; then my great grand daughter was younger than what she is now had the same problem I set on the side of the tub show her what to do finally granny granny granny I did it I feel better then I told her if it happen again think of what granny told u; it might not work for some but it did for us!!

I'm quite surprised that the Hospital didn't just give you "The Bomb" (I can't remember ingredients, but it's simple and very effective). If you Google "The Bomb" for constipation. It will tell you the ingredients.

This man makes it too complicated. Forget the silly disk. I saw a You Tube video on colon massage and it's never failed me. I have severe and chronic constipation (not just intermittent and mild) but it's so bad that I have no pelvic floor (weak pelvic floor and no.. pelvic floor exercises have not helped me) where I cannot have a bowel movement on my own. I do also remember being constipated quite often as a child..perhaps because all the milk I had at each meal and now I wish my parents would have mixed it with apple juice that I see my nieces and nephews parents do. It got better somewhat then about the age of 45 I started to have bad problems again where I would have to have a professional soap sud enema done at an ER which seemed like all the time. I remember crying from embarrassment. Then I hurt my back badly (Sciatica, Scoliosis, herniated disks..and so on) where I had to go on opioids. (Which are known for having a bad side effect from constipation) So every Wednesday night I take Senna (Geri-Cot is the best). My pain management Doctor recommended it to me and it works. I wake up at about 2an Thursday and feel some cramping. I then drink either a double shot of Vanilla Starbucks in the can (it works!) Then proceed to do a colon massage. The way the You Tube video showed me. Take your hand like you are melting butter or put one hand on top of the other. Vibrate from the top of your navel to just below it about 15 reps. Just a gentle up and down motion. Next go to just below the breast bone and go in a clockwise patern in small circular movements gently and go around clockwise for about 15 times. Then do another clockwise pattern around your belly button. 15 times. Small circular movements. You can do this sitting, lying down or even standing. I mostly just lay down. Then massage your perinian (Yes really!) Gently. Then sit or stand up and gently use your knuckles on each side of your lower back on either side of the spine where the indentions are. Again about 15: times. You will actually feel the stool moving downwards. I then take a 64 ounce of Apple Juice and drink until it's down to about half the bottle and a little more of Strong black coffee with Stevia..and voila..your done. You will find yourself going. Many people swear by drinking 4-8 ounces of warmed Prune juice on an empty stomach every morning which I haven't tried. Another good and effective, strong gentle laxative is an Osmotic liquid laxative called Magnesium Citrate. This also works quite fast and you might start having a movement in as little as 30 minutes. My friends swear by it but I have not tried it yet but will. I hope this helps without all the complication.

It's a foam disk called the body disk. See the description. You actually don't need a disk and just do the movements. The disk just provides easier movement

I used a folded towel. It may work for you. I previously did a similar exercise sitting on a chair with the towel. This may put more pressure on the lower back though. Se how it feels for you.

Since centuries the optimal manner to overcome not only occasional constipation but chronic constipation too naturally will be taking castor oil. Remember that castor oil is the only laxative that will not work in the intestines by irritating them, but by activating and synthesizing certain substances in the human body. So any habituation of the human body or diminishing laxative effect is absolutely impossible and castor oil is suitable in a special manner for chronic constipation. Take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach; eventuelly later a second tablespoon castor oil.

Fiber. If it doesn't work, check with a doctor. 4 is very young to have tbis problem if the diet is good. You can try prunes. Make sure you help them brush teeth at that age. Prunes and other dried fruit have a lot of sugar.

I started going to the pain clinic sense I'm on pain med my doc give me a sample of resistor it worked great by only taking one in the mrñg I went back he has did they work I said great them he wroke me a scrip for them??

So you move the ball / disk under each spot of the colon and then rotate clockwise? Or do you leave the disk in the same spot the entire time and just rotate but with your hands pushing on the locations ?

Well, what about the salt flush that would loosen up everything too while you’re doing it with good salts good water, not tables, salt, not table salt but Himalayan salt sea salt or Celtic salt 2 teaspoons to 4 cups of water, warm water drink it up as quickly as you canthat will move wonderfully wonderfully, but make sure you stay close to the toilet on an empty stomach of course when you first get up, it’s the best time on an empty stomach

There's no way i can do this when I am having a serious constipation moment and farting away lethal bombs. I usually hv to pee at the same time and what happen if, this works and I'm ready to poop? I can't hold it I would hv to get up and walk slowly to the BR. Can I do this standing up near the toilet? I need some help but, this method seems tough to do constipated.

Here is what I see. Moving in a clock like fashion he is thrusting his pelvic and pushing one o’clock two o’clock and so on. Hes pushing on the intestine to wake it up and he’s using the exercise the muscle to do some of the work. Just massage yourself while moving your pelvic a little and feel where it’s not so soft. Pretend your massaging a muscle. That is what I see. Would be nice if he answered though 😕

This worked even while sitting on throne, rocking to tolerate the pain with my feet planted on Squatty Potty. All those points hurt like an S O B but I need to stop reaching for the enema bulb. Diverticulitis flare ups are getting more frequent. How many times in a row can i do this?

Im curious as to what led to your diagnosis. Im currently dealing with what seems like an inactive colon. No pain, no blood, just no movements, no urge at all. An occasional movement with the help of soft foods and gentle laxatives but then all i get is string like stool. Been going on for a while but the stringy stuff started after taking miralax. I have an apt coming oct 3rd so i still have a month to wait and wonder what might be going on.

@@johnwirk first time i was doubled over in extreme pain in the lower left abdomen. Small town ER doctor profiled me cause I had to be faking that level of pain for two days. They saw a shadow on the xray. Not until the CT Scan was diverticulitis confirmed. Chronic constipation is the cause for the flare-ups. Beyond that it also attributed to the prolapses i had corrected via surgery. There was no hope for physiotherapy in my case. By the time a specialist saw me i was already at stage 4 uterine prolapse which was pulling down the rear with it and therefore a rectocele necessary as well. Since the surgery i have been taking the same thing just different branding. Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (PEG 3350). A month before surgery however i was hospitalized for 3 days with about as bad a case of diverticulitis as my first one. I have had other surgeries and my pain threshold is very high but the first thing they gave me fentanyl did absolutely nothing to alleviate the pain. Hydromorphone was effective at making me not care that i was in pain, but in pain I still was. The fact that you have no pain and are not having bms is not normal. If i forget to eat my 4 prunes per day and the Restore-a-lax, on the 3rd day there is hell to pay. As there is this morning. Cramps finally subsided after having a movement but 12-24 hours is frustrating as you cannot go anywhere in case this cramp is finally the one. I am going to suggest you get an earlier appointment. We can have a great amount of feces, up to 25 lbs has been recorded, but you cannot keep adding to it without having some move along. Thats where the pain is supposed to let you that there is too much, but that is only my experience and not medical fact. I found that eating is my trigger to go. I therefore try and split my meals into 2 seatings. Seems to help. Good luck

@@johnwirk Been on keto diet for 3 months lost 32lbs. But the constipation thing kicked in around after month 2. Drink plenty of fluids but still having problems it’s probably the keto thing or stress. Either way I’m resorting to Mira lax, Metamucil, and these types of solutions

@@Lab-Rat I lost a few pounds stuffing nothing but salads, oatmeal and yogurt for a couple of weeks down my neck. Ive managed to keep the stool soft with a "normal" diet and put the miralax away for a bit but I still dont get the urge. Its strange. I know when one is "locked and loaded" but I dont experience the auto "contractions" that I once had. It's as if whatever signal I once had no longer "signals".

@@johnwirkare you taking míralax as instructed on the bottle? I didn’t know the daily dose is one full cap with 8oz of water. I was taking 2-3x per day and that “jammed me up”. After just doing one cap at day, it’s all good. Diverticulitis is Painful! It is tiny holes in the colon where food,,especially Seeds get trapped. My mom had to go to the ER From the pain and was diagnosed at the ER With diverticulitis ( ITIS, Means Inflammation! ). Go on an Anti inflammatory diet.

You should verbally describe the location you are touching as the places on a clock, and also what else can be used if a person does not have a disk. You did not say that the disk and the movement you are doing is the point of releaving the bowel, or if it is the pressure on your fingers doing the work. You did not explain how to move on top of the disc (or whatever can be used). You just tell us where to place it. Using as much verbal commands as you can is best because most people dont read your tips you add when you edit your videos. They are to busy listening and copying your lead.
