That's why i did the swap. I didn't know about the predator engines until I started watching there videos.

Hey bro! I got that same bike and just put that motor on last night lol but, I hated those foot pegs for that exact reason so I put some Coleman foot pegs on it and they never droop! Look into it cuz it’s definitely worth it :)

How long have you ran it ungoverned without any other internals? I just did and old style db30 with a completely stock 212. I'm going for Ol'dependable, after my built Gx 160 ($400 race build) ended up having hairline cracks in the block i did not notice until heated it up enough to increase case pressure to the point of seapage! Yuck. Wish I went this route to begin with.

Just bought me the same bd30... I want the same motor... do I need a new throttle cable. AMD it requires a 5ft chain correct. I've been looking on omb... but dont know if the ca le is required for the swap. Thanks

How does yours turn? I have a DB30 with 212 predator and a torque converter and it feels heavy on turns maybe bc its unblanced but its hard to turn and feels like backend will kick out. Sure its bc the frame is super small and the engine and torque converter isn’t perfectly centered but wanted to know how it was for you if it was anywhere near as bad?

I'm fixing up a db30. I have a 70 tooth sprocket in the rear and a 12 tooth in the front. What length of chain do I need? I'm just getting into mini bikes, So I have no idea.

Did you have to do any modifications to the frame to fit the 212cc predator engine?

you have to drill new holes for the engine because the stock ones dont work. and bend back the bar that holds the rear fender on.

I cut that bar out cuz I don’t rock a rear fender lol I left the chain cover spot on driver side so I can eventually put chain cover on it lol I gotta pretty nasty scar on my calf from laying it down one day lol
