Dr Abs was saying that he uses a protein supplement for when the only place he has access to is McDonald's. I've actually found McDonald's so helpful when in the same predicament. I've bought around 4 quarter pounder patties and just asked for the wooden cutlery. I remember eating these in my hotel room when traveling like cookies because they'd forgot to put the cutlery in. As far as I'm aware they're 100% beef and not cooked in any type of fat. It may be different in different countries, but I'm talking about Australia and the UK. I know that some of the experts in this space do the same. Kelly Hogan says she ate nothing but McDonald's patties when she started carnivore, and I'm sure Dr Ken Berry has done a video where he drives through and orders patties. I'm thinking perhaps Dr Abs might prefer to try the beef patties. I actually really enjoy them. I just order however many I need in relation to how hungry I am. You could add bacon but I'm not sure of the quality of it. I just like the patties.

Yeah, McDonald's burger patties are more nutritious than protein powder in the UK. Anyway, who cares, we all do what we want :)

Good comment. I've tried just burger king patties when I first went carnivore and that has put me off trying that again (even 5 years later!) but I think you're right about Kelly and Ken

I think they add flavourings to the Burger King patties. I react to them, and also to the Hungry Jacks here in Australia. I do fine with McDonald's patties and I'm the canary in the coalmine 😅. I just say no salt or pepper. (I can't have anything plant, and I don't do well adding salt)
