The Minotaur scene is one of my most anticipated scenes of the show. I’m a sucker for scenes in the rain, especially battles in the rain!

I agree, it's kind of weird that we haven't heard Dionysus give any lines yet. Considering how iconic and well loved the actors' voice is

one thing i anticipated as much as the trailer was this video 😌

For context you were right at NYCC we saw clips and one of them were of him narrating his early life story and when he was a kid he saw numerous creatures like Pegasus and once in class he looked out a window and saw one of those mechanical bull creatures (I forgot what they’re called) but then he looked away and back and the creature was a garbage truck or something. And then we return to a 13 year old Percy and him and Grover are playing the mythomagic card game and you see a lot of drawings of creatures meaning Percy has been seeing creatures for years.

I’ve been anticipating the Chimera and Echidna scene so much. And the chimera looks so good!! I’m so excited!!

I think they've kinda hidden the more light-hearted scenes in the show till now, only showing more monsters and grim situations, probably the same reason they've kept dionysus hidden as well, wouldn't really be grim with Mr. D in the shot.

It was a surprise seeing Blackjack this early, though I guess showing him here works better as foreshadowing in the show more than Percy accidentally destroying a bus.

I always thought that the first scene of Percy in the rain, where you only see his face and lightning strikes, is from the dreams I had while I was in camp, where a horse and an eagle were fighting on the seashore, in those dreams it was also raining, and it was night, plus he doesn't seem to be in the forest, looks like he's on the beach, did anyone else think so?

I'm so excited to see why Hermes is in the Lotus Casino! Some people suggested that it will be part musical which would fit well with the casting of LMM but there must be a narrative reason as well. And don't forget, we haven't seen a clip of Hephaistos yet, I wonder what his role will be!

In the books, Percy first tries to distract Cerberus with a stick and then fails, but Annabeth succeeds with the red ball. I wonder if they cut the stick out entirely and Percy tries with the ball and it doesn't work, and then Annabeth tries and it does?

I think the "maybe im not gunna need a sword" moment happens, then he sees the scene where Clarrisse taps her spear which makes him say " I'm gonna need a sword" that's my guess

They showed Zeus in a quick teaser right around the time Lance Reddick passed away. It was a quick nod and honor to him. It's gonna be so painful to see him on screen knowing that they will have to recast for him in future. (I think they already actually recasted him, but I'm not sure)

The one thing the movie does right is depicting dyslexia. Sure, it’s exaggerated and stuff from what I have, at least but I’m glad they kept it like that in the show because it does a good job showing what it’s like to have dyslexia

You can use the . and , keys on the keyboard to go frame by frame if you don't know. That one "red shot" was Percy underwater, probably when he fell fighting with the Chimera

If I had to guess, we haven't seen much of Mr. D's scenes for the same reason we haven't seen much comedy. It spoils the jokes. As for Zeus, it's probably because it's one of Lance Reddick's last performances. Out of respect, they're probably not using his face for promotional materials.

Hi i was at comic con and minor spoiler but this is how percy got gifted a new pen: The scene with him and his mom looking at the Perseus statue is juxtaposed with him later looking at it at the met and he’s thinking about it but gets startled by Mrs Dodds who yells his name = he jumps and break his pencil on the clipboard and gets bullied by Nancy about it until mr Bruner steps in and then gives him the pen as a replacement

only thing i would dread about this CHB design is that pond in the center of the cabin circle would attract SO many mosquitos. You try going to your cabin at night and youre blanketed by the blood suckers. Same with leaving it in the morning edit: also, that first thing you thought was the arch, might be the greyhound bus that the furies attack them on the shot with the chimera is 100% the arch. Easiest way to tell? The arch is curved at the top, not flat. And has very few windows so it would not be that illuminated, hence the running lights in the arch

10:37 I think something happened to Annabeth. In some scenes in the Underworld she doesn't appear, and in one of the teaser trailers (the 2nd I think) there was Percy with Annabeth's necklace... ok I'm scared for her now

I love Percy Jackson and just today catching up on the trailers. The more I see of the 3 the more I am so happy with the casting of them. I just... the eyes. The eye color of gray and green were so important for the books and their brown and blue. Like don't change the actors, editing or contacts could've added that story element in and I don't get why their making that same mistake. Also the more I see of Clarrisse the more confused I am, she doesn't look gruff or grungy/almost dirty that I'd image, she looks more like a daughter of Aphrodite and her expressions aren't scary enough for me, IDK maybe it's the clips they showed I wanna know if anyone else has thoughts, from what I've seen so far that actress feels more like Drew to me. I also hope they let more comedy into the series then shown in the trailer, the trailer is cool but just doesn't feel 100% right.

No matter how many trailers I see I can’t get into this chick being Annabeth. I highly disagree with people who say look isn’t everything and I actually think it’s even ridiculous to say so. Looking a part is literally as important as acting one. I just don’t think you can manage with just having one and not the other. This shows success will mostly be on the fact that alot of people will watch this blind and not even know Annabeth is meant to be white with blonde hair. Yes they technically never say white but they do confirm her skin is of tan color. I’m sorry but that’s not a black person lol. And for Rick to allow this is absolutely beyond me. For someone saying it’s going to be true to his books and then have someone act a part who doesn’t even remotely look the part is just bizarre. Even if Alexandria Deddario was like massively older then the roll at least she looked it especially by the second movie when they did her hair right. The only thing wrong then was her eyes. I just can’t get over a black girl playing the roll of a white girl. It’s like having a girl play the roll of a man or vise versa. I just find it beyond bizarre. And this doesn’t generally end well. This is also why a lot of the Disney movies haven’t been doing that great. They may have some successful ones but even those are low here near as good as Disney wanted them to be and it’s because they change iconic characters so drastically.

Ok I have read all the books by Rick Riodon and in those books and I grew up reading all Greek mythology, and there is no freaking way any of the Greek gods were black they have already ruined the entire series, I just despise these woke idiots they just ruin everything, How can you destroy Greek mythology they are Greek from the mediterranean, they were never black wtf!
