Its almost the same i like to jump both from 1 foot and from2 with 1 foot you still have to turn a bit to max your vert 1and also you usually wont go down to 90 more like a 80 degree

I’m a right hander but i have a left-right approach (usually if you’re a right hander, i’d assume your correct approach should be right-left? Which puts you right hand behind your body allowing you to use both your body and your left hand to guard the ball) but the thing is i can’t do a left right approach. This isn’t much of a problem, for me, when it comes to basketball but i want to play volleyball and in order to play volleyball, i need a right left approach. Anyone has any tips for me?

Pfj, is training the vmo muscle important for injury prevention or just for athletes in general?
@danielcarmichael70023 жыл бұрын
you can't train the vmo portion of the lateralis specifically. the innervation of that muscle contracts the whole thing
@rometlempu48393 жыл бұрын
@@danielcarmichael7002 yeah I know, but there are exercises that target it much more than others and some say that they are very important. Like leg extensions. But something like the squat doesn't involve much vmo activation at all.
@danielcarmichael70023 жыл бұрын
@@rometlempu4839 I would say you can. Obviously different exercises with different angles will target different muscles But you also have voluntary control So try concentrating on the vastus lateralis while squatting Lmk if you feel anything dofferent

Long penultimate is not necessary. There are many clips of baby penultimate, as long as the player prepares by 1- applying braking force/turning 2- bending forward to pop the chest up 3- arms back to swing up If they have these three on the penultimate, they don’t need a long jump penultimate
@trust14232 жыл бұрын
The long penultimate helps you get lower for a better jump tho
@johnnytess96322 жыл бұрын
How come people that do right to left penultimate(for example ja Morant and Westbrook)do a circular motion with there left arm during the arm swing, I tried it and it felt hella uncomfortable.
@easybuckets97403 жыл бұрын
The most important think is that it should be all natural, you should not have to think about anything. Just practice it and your technique will automatically become good

for real, like I do all these naturally
@johnnytess96322 жыл бұрын
When your approaching from the right do you plant your left and when your approaching from the left do yo plant your right, because I’m right footed and it feels natural to plant my left foot approaching on both sides. Am I doing it wrong?
