I suffered with severe IBS and diverticulitis for decades. I had a lot of my colon removed due to hemorrhaging. I went carnivore 9 months ago. I lost 85 pounds, healed from diabetes, hypothyroidism, no longer have IBS, gas, acid reflux, inflammation. I was a life long vegetarian, with long periods of veganism, and raw food regimens. I also make and eat L. Reuteri cultured yogurt, and healed my microbiome. I HATE the idea of eating animals, but I can't endure the misery of the vegetarian way of eating. We know if we feed animals outside of their species appropriate diet they sicken and die. We are hunter collectors. We cannot override our biology, though I tried for 40 years. I too pray over every meal.

I feel you - nearly exact same journey & experience in terms of diet. I hate eating animals, too. But it doesn't function any other way after decades of being a veg(etari)an. I fell super ultra bionic balls on ten years vegan and the last time I tried juicing as a staple was before I gave up meat 18 years ago. Besides its the only thing to do if animals are worth anything. At least hunt and maybe you’ll grow up and shoot them with a camera instead. There are a thousand ways to be vegan so I’m guessing people don’t count macros or calories well when trying to eat plant based. Btw we have record of cooked starches over half million years ago and we weren’t homosapiens till 2-3 hundred thousand years ago. Even animals in zoos eating species specific diets have higher rates of disease when eating animal flesh. Let’s all agree the government is taking our taxes and using it to try and keep us all sick and confused 😂

Hi there! I have a question for you: When you mention 1 day of dry fasting, do you mean from sunrise to sunset or a 24-hour period? As I am deciding which fast to do next, having done a whole month of dry fasting from sunrise to sunset which was great but I am also under the impression that water fasting could be more beneficial in terms of clearing the toxins out thanks to the water. What are your thoughts on that?

Slowly try to eat only every other day, so one day eating, one day fasting. Sometimes get confused with the days, as a night person, my day starts when most people's ends and when most people start theirs ends, sometimes hard to keep track of. I think dry fasting every other day is too much, but still every Sunday is a good idea. If you do intermittent fasting and it's basically every 25 hours, you're almost there. I've noticed that 27 hours is a hard limit for me (I'm very skinny and have a fast metabolism....). After a while your body will tell you what it needs, then eat what you need. I am most of the time like Markus Raw Vegan, but somethimes, my body says: You need cocoa butter (is anti-inflammatory and had an inflammation in my leg 3 weeks ago) I usually never feel like white chocolate, I almost went crazy) Or sometimes. Meat. A few weeks ago I had such a craving for Bavarian veal sausages. So I ate some. They were really tasty. Again the next day. The third day my craving was gone. So something in there was what my body wanted. Or kiwi with the last cold. I fasted for 4 days, drank only water and wanted nothing but kiwi, on the 4th day I was healthy again. We should listen to our bodies. Don't stick too hard to your principles, the Roman Empire fell because of the purity of principles.

Issues with spicy foods, I wonder, might still be related to gallbladder/bile, although bile does not neutralize spicy foods in the same way that it neutralizes acidic foods. Spiciness in foods is primarily due to compounds such as capsaicin, or allyl isothiocyanate. These compounds stimulate receptors in the mouth and throat that detect heat, giving the sensation of spiciness. Bile does not directly interact with these spicy compounds to neutralize their effects. Instead, consuming dairy products such as milk or yogurt, or other foods high in fat, may help to alleviate the sensation of spiciness by binding to the spicy compounds and washing them away. Drinking water or other beverages may also help dilute the spiciness temporarily. I don't know, I think there's something about how stomach acid and bile work together that might be messed up with some people that also affects sensitivity to all kinds of things...
@imageword5576
@imageword5576 Ай бұрын
yeah, I might be one of those people. I can't seem to break down the spicy compounds because it always comes out just as spicy as it went in...and then also when I eat only meat, I see blood. When I add rice and cooked veggies, no bleeding.

@@imageword5576 :-( that sounds tough to figure out... some kind of inflammation or a problem with the acid and the bile might be possible. I don't know if you're familiar with the YT channel Kick it Naturally, he explains that mechanism pretty well, but it's pretty complex for sure... all my best

Just a bit of fat on a dry fast (1-3 tsp a day) isn't a bad idea though. Stimulates fat burning, encases possible toxins that are constantly dumped into your stomach during detox which then get flushed out with the bile, stimulates bile secretion itself, isn't enough to kick you out of anything. Might just accelerate and improve the fasting process.

Interesting observation - you are O-neg type like Kasey? According to Traditional Chinese Medicine/Macrobiotics the Rhesus negative blood type is more Yin than Yang in its quality (cool, slow, dark,...). So people with this type need more Yang to bring warmth to their body. Yang foods are all animal products except dairy, salt, fermented, hot/heated food and few veggies & spices. They should avoid cooling food like carbs, fruit, dairy, sugar, grains and cold meals/drinks. It makes sense to me - read it in a book about Macrobiotic diet some years ago.

Ok but the autophagy might still happen because you'd need to re-cycle protein on the fat-only fast. It may be super helpful in starving cancer. In a "caloric deficit" you will burn fat and with some protein you can actually gain muscles if you exercise. That's proven. Let's dont call it a fast or a "dry fast replacement" but we can use the principle all the time and smooth the edges. It's similar to using electrolytes during fasting. It wont ruin the results

The carnivore diet is great...BUT, I feel quite stiff when I get up from sitting, and it doesn’t seem to cure type 2 diabetes. After a colonoscopy the Dr told me I had diverticulitis. He said not to eat meat, but it seems to work.

I also love animals the reason I only eat those which have had a decent respectful natural life making sure the good ethical farmers get also the benefit when I consider their hard work so the environment and everyone is harmonious and healthy.

Have you ever thought about the significance of the animals we consume? Instead of viewing them merely as products, perhaps we could honor their lives by returning their remains to the earth. Farmers, in their pursuit of profit, often overlook this connection, treating these animals as commodities rather than beings deserving of respect, whether alive or deceased. True love for animals doesn't come with their murder when they are "ripe" for consuming their flesh.

@@artwardo the animals I consume are animals couldn't exist if they were not to be farmed to be consume, now I do not consume just any animal and also I do not deny the way I was made by the divine to be the best I could be, the divine force did not make me vegetarian. Today there is too many people who are overly emotional brainwashed by the vegan cult, to think eating animals is cruel and bad for the planet but in reality is the contrary, where is good farms wild animals and vegetation thrive in biodiversity but there is no enough good small family farms and the government corporate industrialised of agriculture is what makes this world sick and environmentally polluted with chemicals, fertilisers, GMO's monocultures with the help of government religious vegan cult propaganda all for the love of control and money.

@@x00p3 While plant farming may unintentionally harm some critters, the environmental devastation and immense suffering inflicted by slaughterhouses on animals and workers cannot be overlooked. Opting for plant-based alternatives not only minimizes animal suffering but also mitigates environmental damage, offering a more ethical and sustainable choice.

Carnivore may be the best diet for VP, but others should consider the CVD and cancer research about such a diet. Some people might do better to find vegetable sources of nutrition which don't cause the problems. It might not be easy, but it might give you another 20 or 30 years of living in our wonderful dystopia.

What makes you and other ppl feel amazing on a carnivore diet? Can’t bee the meat with all the happiness inside of the animal which died. Can it be the adrenaline in the meat which is stored in there from the fight or flight moment? Or could it be your own adrenaline helping to dilute and flush the system off the excess fat? Im still wondering what the consistency of ppls poo is on a high fat diet.

That's the funny thing, you don't poo on a carnivore diet. So it's useless imo for people with adrenal issues, candida and sibo where it's really important to eat easier to digest stuff that you can actually poo out. I do best on a Mediterranean/Paleo approach (fruits, non starch veg, fish, chicken, yogurt)

I struggle to cut veggies from my "paleo" diet. I feel like my body needs it. I have veggie cravings and I make bad ass salads. But like you, I have a fucked up GI since the jabs. One day I'm fine and then it's constipation hell and I have a baby in my abdomen.

I think the perspective of average people evaluating there health with experimentation is important to share. It's like discussing with a friend how things are working out. After all, most of us are trying our best to figure out this life thing. Why not share your perspective, especially if someone is inquiring? Those with a PhD should not be the only ones to speak on such topics. It is commical that we as general population in this age are so misconstrued on how to fuel and heal our bodies. Let's talk about it 🎉
