I will also provide an update on my first planting of cauliflower and broccoli and go through what fertilising i do at their final stages, and how i control pests

I just discovered this channel and it's brilliant! I'm a fellow gardener in Sydney and the cabbage moth have been a big challenge this season - it's a constant battle with my brassicas. Will net them next year for sure. Keep up the great content!

I need to up my game with the pyrethrum spraying. Once a week with a sprayer dedicated to the task like you do. I am amazed your January broccoli planting looks as good as it does. Minimal insect damage and no nets in sight. The spraying really works.

Pyrethrum is safe to use it’s a contact spray not a poison so it suffocates the insects and works well on grubs. You can also use homemade white oil which is a dishwashing detergent and vegetable oil combination that does the same thing also
