If you're getting into Texas Holdem Poker, you'll soon end up playing against some really aggressive playstyles and are likely to lose a lot of chips to them. They usually keep betting, raising, going all-in, and are seemingly invincible, as you cower in your corner getting bled to death while their chip stack does nothing but get higher and higher.
However, cowpokes, consider yourselves lucky as today our old labrador Dominic will be explaining exactly how to play against these honchos and, most importantly, how to WIN.
This quick rundown will go over some types of players, playstyles, and finally some strategies on how to beat them using their own strengths against them!
If there's something we left out, or if you have any particularly interesting aggressive player stories, feel free to share them in the comment section.
To play poker from your home state, or any other casino game for that matter, head on over to americancasinoguide.com

I love over aggressive players they tend to be even more aggressive with top pair . So u can just keep calling n they will raise more n more . N then u can go all in on the river . Normally they call coz they already fully committed to the pot lol

The other day I was playing with this aggressive player, he like to bet, no matter what, he bet, he raised. I played with him before, and last time I played with him, he told me, he’s here to win money, he’s not here to make friends. I always play a friendly game, talk to the players a little bit. So this time he comes around again, I know he’s like betting. I wait…I wait…I lost few big pot, and finally I got pair of 10s, he bet, I raised, called, 3 other players also called. I’m thinking oh boy. I’m not worry about the aggressive player, because I knew I have him beat for now, I’m more worry about the other 3 players. Flop comes 6, 4, 6 Aggressive player bet again. Now I’m thinking hm….can someone holding a 6? Possible? Everyone called and to me, I raised again, in my mind I want to beat down the aggressive player, I don’t care for what anyone else is holding. 1 player goes all in. I’m like oh…boy, but I cover him, so I called Turn come to the magic card. 10!!!!!!! I got the full house, I knew I have everyone beat. The aggressor put it ALL IN, is like music in my ears!!! 2 other players also called I stand up and told everyone I won😆😆😆 One opponent flopped the trip with the 6s I took the whole pot, none of other players show their cards, I took it down

I intentially change my play style from LAG to TAG to occasionally Tight Passive (to lay a trap) to confuse players trying to assess my table image. I want to be sending as many mixed signals as possible. My favorite trap play was one time I got a guy with (likely) a large pocket pair to bet all in against my quad aces (there were 3 aces on the flop) thinking I was just trying to catch him in a bluff. Pretty sure I deserve an Ocsar for how I led him by the nose on that hand. :P

Hi Sometimes you will get KQ and you raise, but the flop shows 4 7 9, what do you do. Fold, or continue to bet.
@AllAmericanCasinoGuide

In that situation the odds of you winning are low, so you'll have to bluff your way through it.

A really loose aggressive player is terrible to play against. Had this dude raise every hand pre flop to 12$ or more, 1/2, he get a caller or two since the whole table knew that he would do this then barrel, something like 40$, 100$ then 180$ on the streets. Insane player but constantly (like 40% of all hands played) took down 50$+ pots. Had two good hand against him. A7, called a raise from him for 12$ with another player (loose passive) in the pot (dealer) flop came Ac Jc 4c, bet from LAG, I raise all in (500-600$) for the 150-250ish pot. Once I did that I just started silver tonguing for the life of me. Basically said I had a A with a medium kicker and that I jammed caused I didn’t want them to barrel three streets into me with A with medium kicker. Both folded, and LAG said he would’ve called if I didn’t make a speech about it. Then I showed the hand. Didn’t see his reaction but assumed he had me beat with that comment. The last hand I played (LAG was a real asshole at the table so I didn’t mind hitting and running on him) I had QQs loose passive player bets like 12, LAG raises to 30 I raise to 100. Both call, then a board with a J or lower come up semi wet, LAG raises, I jam after a lot of thought (800$ prehand stack) since I thought their ranges had AA or KK in them (didn’t realize they probably would have jammed/raised with those hands preflop) do to preflop action but decided I had to make a stand against them, loose passive player called LAG said he would call but he knows one on us has a over pair. Folds. Turns a K (dread in me) then a brick I show and the loose passive kicks didn’t think I’d win that especially at the river but got luck, LAG says he woulda got trips, but was pretty sure he was BSing.
