✅ SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ✅
Pole dancing is super fun but there are also risks involved you should be aware of before starting. These videos are advice only and are not intended to replace in-person professional classes. Please warm up before engaging in pole dancing to prevent injury! I am not a professional pole dance teacher. I recommend attending in-person classes before trying any moves on your own, especially when learning upside down tricks where a spotter is essential! If you have a pole at home, please make sure it is set up properly and is from a reputable supplier. There is always an element of risk when pole dancing and by following these videos you may be placing yourself at risk of injury. Please be careful and only do moves within your skill level.
Happy pole dancing 🤗

So so so happy for this and part 1. Every beginner tutorial is full of full body weight spins and no routines. You make this so perfect for someone who is actually a total beginner

I'm the same! I always neglected strengthening my upper body growing up. That's why I love upside down tricks where you can hold your body with your legs for a lot of moves! But because I have a heavy lower body, it actually makes it harder to balance upside down 😂

My pole class called side leg swipes as "pretty horse leg" 😂. Great videos. Thanks for putting them in routines, I'm not creative enough to sting moves together fluidly.

Could you do more beginner friendly tutorials for people with ‘weak’ arms? This video (and part 1) has to be the only tutorial that teaches moves that I can actually do because I can’t lift both feet of the ground yet. I can’t thank you enough and I definitely want to learn more moves.

What like do you use and could you make a video explaining the best home poles and why! Stuck between powder coated and brass! 😭
@PoletatoJemPoleDancer
@PoletatoJemPoleDancer 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ashley :) I use a brass spinning/static pole (40mm). I'm from Australia and have linked the exact pole I have in the description and similar ones from US too. I have only ever tried brass and chrome poles! If you don't have a ceiling that is solid or has studs, or you are worried about damaging your ceiling, free standing poles are a popular option for this but I hear they can wobble a little bit and are stainless steel so harder to grip onto. With powder coated I have never used it before but it is apparently more slippery. I recommend getting a pole of the same finish to the one in your studio or most commonly used in studios where you live so you can transfer your skills between home and outside more easily :) I love brass because it is easier for me to grip as opposed to chrome. However it depends on your skin so if you can try out the different poles at a studio it will tell you best which size to get and what finish :) That's how I knew I needed to get brass and 40mm, because it was the best fit for me at my studio. It is more expensive than chrome and powder coated but I do find it easier to use. You can find out more information on here: dance4me.com.au/x-pole-blog/choosing-your-width-finish-where-to-start/ Good luck choosing!
