Thanks for the audit, well done for keeping in control That currently serving cop was awkward to say the least. What that cop wanted was all of your personal details, he filmed you in 4k and just wanted your personal details. I was told they are wanting recent face photo and personal details for facial recognition cameras which will be introduced everywhere.

What a surprise a police officer ignorant of the drone laws that were introduced years ago.

You allowed that arrogant policeman to own you and treat you like dirt , the law clearly states he has to suspect you of a crime even to look at your drone nevermind get your details , you bottled it and let him bully you .

You only have to show your flyer id. The police have no power to record the id unless he thinks you have committed an offence. Also you dont need to give your name unless he thinks you are committing an offence. He must stipulate what offence he suspects to get your details. My advice is to land the drone and show him that you have your flyer id on the drone but dont let him take details of it until he stipulates what regulations you have broken.
