Okay so this is LITERALLY my cousin, she saw a picture of me with makeup once and said I looked like “an emo Bratz doll” (it was natural makeup as well) and she literally said “no offense but makeup makes people look worse that’s why I literally never wear it all I wear is mascara and chap stick” 😒

I always give that vibe to people when im in KZfaq comments talking about something. They dont understand that im not making fun of certain things like makeup. Im just describing what the girls i hate are like. I dont wear makeup cause 1. I dont like the feeling. 2. My face looks better without cause of what i look like. 3. People ask me a lot what gender i am because i have a deeper voice, masculine face shape, and my clothing choices. But again, im not saying im better than anyone at all. It's kind of like when someone discounts what's said with the response "they must be on their period". It's so extremely disrespectful and degrading. For example, I've had several people call me a "pick me" for speaking out about male abuse and that it should be taken seriously. It does kinda suck how often men and women cannot support the other gender without being ridiculed or harassed for trying to win over that gender. It gets into a whole long conversation about it, but that's probably not for this comment section. I will say I know both men and women get called 'pick-me's and usually it's pretty obvious when it is or isn't to most people with some semblance of a braincell. Like for example would this character in the short *actually* be a pick me? @@hekategoddess no please no cake. I had classmates who were so full of themselves and literally walked around school as if they were the best. Literally. I once overheard a classmate say he saw a picture of a girl in that class (I'm in uni now this happened in highscool) not wearing makeup and he was shocked to see the difference. And said this girl looked completely different. And I can tell you I saw it all. I saw people looking like orange umpa lumpas with sharpie eyebrows, spidery lashes and 1000 layers of powder to make their face matt. They would literally reapply powder at recess. And one girl told me she does it to make her foundation matt. She also told me her foundation was like €25 but still made her look like a concrete wall. Another girl used to come looking ghostly white with bright pink cheeks and lashes stuck on so poorly you could see the white bits of glue on them. I probably wore falsies once because I had somewhere to go afterwards. Yes I did wear makeup but I didn't look like a crusty concrete wall holding onto dearest life. And pretty much everyone who wore visible makeup looked like that.

That's the only reason i wear makeup. I don't wear it often, never when I'm just at home or going to the store, or really even when we go out. Just when I feel like I want to do something creative. I hate when people say I don't need it...I know lmao obviously I don't NEED makeup. I need air, water, abs food...I don't need makeup. I wear it because I want to, not for you, not for him, not for anyone but me.

Same with my partner. Doesn’t wear makeup, but takes absolutely forever to get ready, even when they know there’s a pretty strict schedule. Like, I honestly don’t care how long you take to get ready or what you need to do to look nice. Just don’t waste everyone’s time lol

I dont wear makeup 99% of the time i’ll more often wear maybe lipstick than a full face, i maybe wear a full face of makeup like once a year maybe a few times more if there’s more than 1 special occasion in the year, but i honestly hate the backhanded comments like, wow you look so pretty even tho you dont wear makeup, like what? Excuse you? It’s like saying “you look so pretty even though you’re not skinny,” also my skin really benefits from me not using makeup, and im not saying dont wear makeup if you suffer from acne, but it wouldnt hurt to not wear makeup, unnecessary products on the skin can definitely cause a flare in acne, but tbh almost anything can, but all i need to keep my face acne free is just water and it might be because i dont wear makeup, i dont even bother with face masks

It's fun! I love experimenting with different colors/combinations, different styles, different ways to apply things etc. I've never thought of it as "I need to put on a new face to hide the one I have". It's more "What can I do to make my eyes stand out more" or to compliment a new hair color. I've never understood the whole "Makeup means really you hate yourself and think you're ugly" as that's not typically the case. At least for myself and others I've talked about makeup with. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Gone are the days when women were encouraged to use it to enhance natural features and not paint on a new face. We have girls where I live not even 15 yet and are already worried about how fat or skinny they are, how their face looks and shit that shouldn’t matter to them because they are children. Hell we have 13 ye old that put on makeup and look fuckin 30. So it’s clown makeup to me because all those brands do is turn you into a puppeteer’s clown.
