Just make us an ORIGINAL princess if you're going to do this- it's so annoying to get someone's seconds and they're just like "are you happy now?" If it was a reimagining like Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella, it'd be one thing, but a remake off the back of the actors looking JUST like Mowgli, Jasmine, Aladdin, hell CINDERELLA, and they pull that shit. I also agree with the "what if they made Tiana white" thing. Stop blackwashing. Stop whitewashing. Disney just needs to be ORIGINAL. It's not suddenly okay to change a white person's race to something else. But hey, it's a fictional mermaid.
