I am not sure, but I think the part number or "code" is F2580, but for sure, I do remember getting them from etrailer .com and they are called the firestone ride-rite air helper springs- double convoluted- rear , for Ram 2500 and I see an old email that says I paid $365.29 Jan of 2017 . I'm going on a job tomorrow to demolish a concrete front porch/ steps and to remove sod from that yard there with my excavator. I'll take a short video of the truck and trailer loaded. Congratulations on your new PowerWagon!

Oh for sure, it's overloaded with what the factory rating sticker 'says' it can do, but if you look at the front suspension in the front and rear axles and the frame on that truck compared to any half ton whether it be Dodge Chevy or Ford it's Superior and strength much more heavy much more beefy. So much more rugged and capable of hauling something heavy. the only thing it was needed was to put a couple cheap bags on the back. And Yep, technically insurance will say it's been modified, and if i get in a wreck while 'loaded heavy' and working it, insurance probably won't pay, ya know, weasel out of paying anyway, but that's a chance I'll take. It pulls and STOPS what i haul, just fine. I have recently transitioned in to doing more heavy pulls with my 2008 Duramax, but as for my PowerWagon, I just wanted one truck that makes my bread, gets me and my toy hauler to the lake, Moab, down the road, and to the next place i decide to call camp.

@@bobvincent4841 I hear you. I have a 2500 cummins and it’s limited payload is annoying as well being that the axles and brakes etc are the same as 3500s. Especially with adding airbags.

At the time that I put the steel wheels on I had been going to the lake at least twice a month and I would always air down to about 14 lbs on that deep sugar sand. consequently I ended up with quite a bit of sand between my wheels and my tire beads and the sand that had become impregnated into the tire bead eventually ate away at the aluminum wheels, causing them to become very sharp and this made 1 of my Cooper tires to blow out . While changing that tire out I had the other three dismounted and found that they were all soon to follow the beads were damaged and all three wheels were Sharp which quickly ruined new tires. So the moral of the story if you're going to do any heavy hauling you're lots safer with a steel wheel and especially if you play in the sand because they hold up when the aluminum wheels didn't. There was also another truck I had, a 99 Ford f250, and I would haul my 17,000 lb backhoe on my 24000 gvwr rated gooseneck tandem trailer. And I had the same thing happen with that truck. It had factory aluminum wheels0 and they became very sharp because I was hauling heavy with it everyday and it caused my Big O tires to blow out so I've had at least two trucks now with aluminum wheels that the beads got very sharp and caused tire damage just because I hauled heavy. I strongly discourage hauling heavy loads with aluminum wheels on a 3/4 ton pickup. I think aluminum wheels on a dually are just fine but not heavy hauling on a 3/4 ton. I really didn't downgrade to steel wheels because I liked my factory Power Wagon wheels so much that I went on Craigslist and found a set of aluminum Power Wagon wheels to put my 37 inch Patagonias on that I take to Moab. Hope this helps you and gives you some understanding as to why I've done that.
