How to disable anoying beeping while in reverse on second gen TOYOTA PRIUS. Very easy DIY, no need for scanner or any tools. 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Prius.

If you find the beeper speaker, you can disable it permanently with a small hammer 😂 Thanks for the video.😊

Did you hold down the brake for the whole time or only when you pressed the START button? I've been waiting for this for 3 years and have watched so many videos that purport to show you how to disable the beep. I can't wait to try it. 👍

I have a honda fit 2017 model cvt transmission i get 45 to 46 mpg on the highway at 65mph. The mpg display is as accurate as my calculator at the gas pump. That is with one person and one piece of luggage.

From what I’ve read, 3rd gen beeper can’t be shut off. I have a 2014

So i have a toyota carolla 2014, that the trunk doesnt lock & the seatbelt warning light beeps constantly while driving, is there any way to shut it off? Otherwise i need to go to a body shop & pay 300$ to fix it.

Is it that the trunk is bent and won’t align? Can the catch mechanism be closed with your hand while trunk is open? Try to close the lock mechanism- I am imagining you have the trunk lid tied down…

Yes the trunk lock works, but it doesnt line up with the catch , correct there not aligned so it doesn’t close. I tried bending the catch a little bit but it didnt help.

@@davidzzz3562 So I was thinking on that just close the trunk lock so at least the trunk open warning goes off, and for the seat belt beep, enter a search in KZfaq - there are many videos that speak on this subject and may help.

The beep is to warn pedestrians to move out of the way.

I would agree except for the fact that the beep is coming from inside the car. What I wanted to disable (without cutting wires) was the UFO sound to alert the blind that a car was near.

I believe it's inside and outside and because it's electric until it goes over 35 miles an hour is silent

@Fred… My Rav4 doesn’t beep. I use a trick of looking behind me or use the backup camera (before slowly backing up) to see if anyone is standing/walking behind the vehicle. So far - zero collisions. 😊

It's not audible outside the vehicle. It's just a reminder to the driver.
