I imported my corso puppies from Poland. Because of the legal requirements they were 3 months and 21 days. LONG drive from South of Poland to South West of UK! Half an hour break every 3 hours. Surprisingly they took it very well. No crying and only 1 toilet accident

We have this exact issue when we collect our new puppy in a 6 weeks time. Planning on breaking the journey up by visiting my parents on the way home.

This video couldn't have came it a better time for me, I'm picking up my little rottweiler pup in 4 weeks time and we have an 8 hr drive ahead of us, I imagine that will be more like 10hrs but thanks for the advice, great video

My puppy was sleeping in her crate beside my bed during the night. I let her out in the garden around 4 a’clock and after that she was allowed to sleep in my bed until we got up. Perfect solution for us.

That's exactly what I've been doing. I noticed my puppy was sleeping at night for about 3 hour's before he needed to pee. I couldn't bare to place him back in the cage afterwards. I've only had him a week. He was taken after 12 weeks with the mom. He got car sick and wasn't potty training yet so I've been busy this week but knowing he stayed longer with his mother I felt I needed to approach him slightly different than other dog's who were gone on week 8 or 9. He really had a huge bond with his mom and he was the runt and they have different personalities just like the show dog number leader and middle dog class just like a family. He seemed to do better within 2 days and get really close to me fast and honestly I believe because he was scared but in need of rescue because he was with her longer and a puppy. He listens well and starting to know his pack place by my rules and sleeping in bed only after pee in the middle of the night and then getting in bed he went straight to the foot of the bed like he had his pack he could rest after being scared without his mom. It made me smile he trusted me so soon.

Kymmberliestarr Yes it was perfect as I needed my sleep so much. After peeing I took her direct to my bed so she also could fall in sleep quickly. 😊

We are moving cross country 32+ hour drive once our puppy will be 12 weeks old. Im dreading the drive. Military family and this move came out of nowhere.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Have an 800+ mile drive with new puppy in January, so DESPERATE for some insight. Don’t want to harm pups head space, but, we gotta do what we gotta do. I can’t see sending pup on an airplane...too many unknowns. We just have to work through it. But the duration is valuable. I wouldn’t have imagined we needed to stop every hour. But, we can do that. (As well as rural roads, so we’re not stuck on an interstate in a city when the “emergency” potty needs arise! :-). At least, that’s the strategy :-/. Again, thanks!

Id love to see a video on how to juggle a new puppy with a young toddler or baby. How can we avoid the puppy keeping our daughter up at night with crying (if the puppy does cry)

Wow perfect timing... I have a question on this. How does it work taking them to go toilet on the journey home when they haven’t had all their jabs? I didn’t think it was safe to let them down in public until after 12weeks (or 2nd lots of jabs). And this has been really worrying me. Picking up my bullmastiff pup next month and have a 5hr drive home. Currently working through your BM & puppy courses 😃

I have a 4 month old American Bully and she got her shots a day ago. I'm moving to a new city but bec of the current situation, I have to do it tomorrow already. Do you think that's okay?

We were told to send up an old towel that was put in the bed the litter slept on for a few days prior. The puppy went into the crate on top of the "smelly" towel. He went straight to sleep all the way home.

Is it ok for a 9 weeks old puppy to traval by car and stay in a summer house a week, when she's only spent a week or so in a new home? The summer house is 6 hours away by car.

Hi Will. I’ve been tuning in since you got mable, sorry for your loss. I have been researching via yourself, 12 titans, senza tempo on corso’s via you tube and accessing your videos on mastiffs in general. The health concerns and to be honest the investment is a concern I’m still not sure of. I have a Staffy and Biscon currently, both are speyed and neutered and are great family pets. Myself and my wife are active with our dogs and would like to add another but not unsettle what we have. A lot of the breeders I’ve contacted claim that the corsos aren’t really good family pets, I’m not sure if they are being protective of the breed or testing my willingness. Everyone had to start somewhere with one ? I’ve had dogs all my life, GSP, labs, German shepherd and my current dogs. All have led long happy life’s. I would be interested in continuing training to shutzen for a mastiff type and would appreciate any help or advice you can give me. Good and bad it’s all good advice. Thank you.

What do you do for car sickness??? Every time I get my 4 month old puppy in the car she gets car sick and throws up on the way back home from a 20 min ride!

Hello from Chicago. I will be transporting my puppy 8 hours away and this really helped. the 8 hour drive with all the stops will turn into 18 hours. Can i skip the once every hour if/when the puppy is sleeping? The breeder doesn't do any type of crate training, won't this be traumatic on the puppy when i drive home? Especially if they've never seen a crate before? Thank you for this video!!

Maybe visit a park and allow people and kids to come pet your puppy?

@@Wolffeathers21 that would depend on age. It would be really strange if an older single male ask a kid but ya know what I'm saying. I'm assuming with their name they're not 60 but who knows. 😂 I would say that is fine but just make sure to talk to parents first and let them decide if they ask a child because it's creepy. Ask age appropriate to your age and it should go much better. 🙃

So no car seat? Bc I’m watching and learning so when I pick up My pup it’s a stress free for it as it is for me. Gonna try to send a blanket ahead to ask the breeder if they can keep it with the pups and I’ll take it with me on the day I take it home

First night home with our cane corso pup. 8 weeks old. He rode in the passenger floor on the way home. Perfect pup. Butttt. When it was time for bed and he was put into the crate beside the bed he still whined and howled most of the night. I did get up to potty him twice and as soon as he went back Into the crate he was whining and howling again. It seems like even tho he’s in the room right next to the bed he still whines. Should I just go with tough love and put him in the living area if he’s going to whine and howl anyways.

I know it's tough but stick with it, the whining will stop! Try to be consistent with where he sleeps wherever you decide

Hi Will I have a question for someone who trains and raises these dogs. There is a Bully breeder on facebook seeming to go viral for allowing his daughter to sit on his dog and pull at his fur and skin saying thats the temperament of the dog to allow that but fails to recognize this is abuse....coming from you do you think its abuse or is it just something dogs should be expected to allow with no complaints

I dont think its abuse, but its more like pushing the dog to its limits of patience. If he keeps letting her daughter doing that it could result in an accident! Like a bite

Yikes. That's straight up abuse. Would you want someone doing this to your child because that's what a dog is like technically but still a freaking dog. Who does this crap? Who laughs that it thinks this is away to treat any creature? No this is not right and yes they should be warned first and then if still happening then make a report. I don't get on Facebook but that's not cool. All I have to ask anyone who thinks this is ok is how would you feel if you were the....... creature would you like that? Wouldn't that piss you off day after day but an animal should take it? BS. Pushing a dog to the brink of making them attack because of your BS way to see if they break? Na. I know it is not you because of your question but it's to anyone else who thinks this is ok, it's not! Thanks for letting others know. I wonder if they are that popular if others have complained? I've also read that fake reports have been make against KZfaqr, FB, insta, Twitter and all other media site's have been getting occused of all kinds of things due to jealously and social justice warriors so I'd definitely have to know it and see it before I reported something like that.

@@swilliams9511 me too. we've got a 5 hour drive and the puppy will have had no jabs. I saw on another site they stopped the car and put the puppy on a puppy pad but not sure how successful this would be - would love to know the answer

@@wendysvanadventures2659 well.. I can tell ya.. our 13 week old Corso needed many potty breaks on the way home.. we did our best to place him on “less trafficked grass areas” but we carried him to and from those locations (to prevent him exploring and finding things)
