Sometimes using a good eq app helps especially on a radio with very basic eq like this. I have done the same as well. Just watch the volume from the phone it may distort thru the amp if you send it too high of volume. Depends on the device it seems. My ipod i can send just about full volume. However my phone i cant go over 75 percent without it distorting.

@@bondjovi4595 if understand electronics. Many things internally work differently in operation and execution. 1 unit wouldnt do it. Older delco gm radio maybe. But even the 3 big button vs the auto-search cassette units have differences. And many later ones have a digital command control system where its more difficult to do anything with those.

They are similar size. Ive used both types. Some of the radios dont have a place to fasten them like the one at the end of the video but the device can fit in that area. . These radios always have a pretty decent space around there inside

Those bose radios can be a little finicky with noise. You might improve it by moving the power source to inside the radio. I believe that same ribbon cable has a 12v switched line you could try. 12v while powered on and 0v when off. The radio itself has some noise filtration components already. .. if its only noisy with Bluetooth connected there might not be a whole lot to do. Alot of Bluetooth units have a little bit of noise already. Mine does but it is faint. Can hear it when nothing is playing but you can't notice it much at all with something playing. .. also if you are connected to a phone or something make the phone Bluetooth volume comparable to the radio volume. .. meaning while you're listening to a strong FM station remember how loud that was. When you connect to it make your phone play at about the same level. If you had to bring your device volume higher to do this. That should drown out some noise interference. Relocating the 12v should help. I have switched a lot of mine over that way as well. My first one i had the 12v jammed in the main 12v feed from the harness. It seems to work better if you tap the power and audio from that one location. Ground can just be attached to the casing or soldered on the board directly on a ground strip.

Might help to move the bluetooth away from the tuner board too. Down next to the cassette is where ive been putting them because of similar issues. I havent messed with many bose systems though. .

I just answer the phone and the phones mike works good enough. Havent had complaints from people i talked to on the phone. Although the times and that number can be counted on 1 hand but whatever.

Had to locate the purchase history. Thats the one there. There are a few that are the same but might look slightly different. One of mine the Bluetooth card in it is different but they work the same. Should have posted links awhile back. This unit is pretty good for tapping into car stereos and retaining the factory look since no switches or anything is needed.
