Been a while since the last upload so I thought I'd do a quick catch up on where I am at with the 1/14th White Freightliner build.

Absolutely beautiful. You sell yourself short brother, your build is mindblowing also. Tremendous eye and skills to match.
@OldIronRC3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Steve! I think there are 2 types of builds, Engineer type builds when it is exact, and Arts & Crafts type builds which has a more "lived in" look & feel.

Cracking little build, I much prefer these types of full metal builds to 3dprinted stuff
@OldIronRC3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I must admit I prefer the metal builds, not that I have anything against plastic or styrene builds.

Cheers Twist. Slowly but surely. I think slow is the only way I know to build lol.

We used to have some dudes around here that were scrappers. They went around buying scrap and reselling it and they had an old flatbed trailer with removable sides they pulled around with an old GMC ASTRO 95 day cab tractor. When you were showing the wood and talking about the metal patch in the floor it sounded just like those old guys. That was a lot of years ago. Looks like you've got some great ideas for the Freightliner. That exhaust will look cool. Thanks for the update.😎

That's a cool story Ray. I wanted this truck to be a scrap metal truck, old and abused. I'm glad what I am doing reminds you of real scrappers from back in the day. The crusty aesthetic of a bone yard rig.
