Nice work gentlemen !! After 68,000 my shock just left a few drops on the garage floor. Thanks for your video, helps greatly. Blessings 🙏
@hhh602
I just replaced shock at 90,000 klm. I chose a YSS shock with comparable performance to Race tech at half the price. Quality billet unit, fully adjustable and beautiful ride.😊

Dont need to remove fender or mudguard...get bike way up in air and put on car jack stands. Can remove shock from underneath and side easily. Wheel will drop down enough to clear fender also. No need to mark adjusters..just measure swing arm libit bilt center to rear acke and get exact same measurement on left and right sides. Make sure belt is set at .51 in if deflection at 10 lb/ft whilenon sidestand (spec is .38-.51 and looser side if aoec better for longevity).manual is wring on rear wheel torque...dont out it on at 100 lb/ft....65 is pleanty. Stock shock SUCKS use a modified Goldwing gl1800 rear shock (called Road-Wibg shock conversion).
