When I see RE4's videos, I thought Los Iluminados was the behind the Umbrella. "Wow a crazy cult behind everything.", back than that idea excited me so much. But when I started game first think I see is "Umbrella is no more". I disappoint me so much. After all these years it is still one of the problems I have with RE4. Me and many old school fans are still sour for not getting a satisfying conclusion for Umbrella story.

@murat balamsa well I also respectively disagree, re0 and re6 were only consistent on the surface level, no real character, and the games felt like they didn't effected one another. Re7 I feel was a saving grace for the franchise in its story, it kept its story simple but introduced another shady organisation and more ways to go. vendetta, the actions good and its dumb fun, but that movie is really fucking bad.

Well the first game had her in a uniform. In RE3 it was my understanding she was off duty when the Racoon city incident started. Hence the civilian clothes.

@@cake6851 Actually Fates takes place in the past of Archanea, Chrom mentions Hoshido and Nohr as being legendary kingdoms in the Before Awakening DLC of Fates, not to mention Odin, Selena, and Laslow are actually Severa, Owain, and Inigo sent to the past as revealed in the Hidden Truths DLC. And in Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia's Cipher Companions DLC Emma and Shade who are from Nohr, Yuzu who is from Hoshido, and Randal who is from Elibe join your party, meaning Hoshido, Nohr, and Elibe existed in the time of Alm, Celica, and Marth not to mention that the Sol Katti from Elibe is obtainable in Paralogue 21 of Awakening. Tellius also exists in the same world as Archanea because of Priam, Ike's descendant who you recruit in Awakening. I know the backstory of Tellius says that the entire world except Tellius was flooded but that was proven wrong within those games because of Hatari, where Nailah and Volug are from. I think only the land masses right near Tellius were flooded rather than all of the land on the planet. Tellius is just very far away from all the other continents and Ike canonically leaves Tellius in search of new lands either with Ranulf or Soren or by himself at the end of Radiant Dawn. I'm assuming he eventually landed in Valentia/Valm because that is where Priam is found in Awakening. This next bit is just a theory I've heard and isn't confirmed but may connect Magvel into Archanea's world too. It is theorized that a character named Nada Kuya, a legendary female warrior who liberated Caer Pelyn and is said to have wielded a sword made from a dragon's fang in Eirika and Saleh's supports is actually a descendant of Alm and Celica who wielded the Valentian Falchion (obviously a different family line from Walhart) and that since she took it to Magvel with her and stayed there, that's why we don't find the Valentian Falchion in Awakening, because it's still in Magvel with Nada Kuya's descendants. We even see a distant shoreline that vaguely matches up with Velentia/Valm's southern coast in the background of the Caer Pelyn map in Sacred stones. Now back to mostly facts and with some speculation. Three Houses may or may not be connected to Archanea because we find the Three Regalia (Parthia, Gradivus, and Mercurius) and Hauteclere from Archanea, but they are found all rusted and in the inventory of demonic beasts for some reason, meaning, the Regalia and Hauteclere somehow ended up in Fódlan some time between Marth's time and Awakening because we don't see them in Awakening (not counting the Outrealm DLC which isn't canon and assuming renown awards aren't canon either since they're just extra stuff you buy with points you get from doing spotpass and streetpass stuff and have no impact on the story). And in Three Houses we learn that there are many places outside of Fódlan, some of which we either visit or see on the map (Duscur, Sreng, Brigid, Albinea, Almyra, and Morfis) and then there's Dagda which isn't shown at all, proving there's much more of the world than what's shown on the in game map in Three Houses, so who's to say Archanea and all the other continents aren't just outside of view from Fódlan's world map?

@@Superlazerninja12 Well no. Fates isn't in the past of Archanea because Anankos can't tine travel as explained by the him talking to the awakening trio. The kingdoms of hoshido and nohr only exist in chrom's world as fairy tales. Spotpass is not canon. The three archanea weapons are fan service nothing more nothing less unless Intelligent Systems comes and says otherwise but I don't they will. Considering if something takes place in the same universe they are usually straight forward with its place in the timelines. In 3H a monastery conversation with Shamir explains the lands outside of Fodlan are nowhere near as fantastical as that nation. We can assume they don't have literal deities like Sothis. So the idea of Naga, Ashunera, and whoever else being on the other side of the world is slime to none. Plus we gotta factor in FE heroes which I suppose is canon the FE multiverse considering the mobile game explains the creation of the outrealm gates. Which are gates to alternative worlds. Not only that the summoner's whole job is to summon heroes from different worlds.

@@cake6851 There is no explicit proof or word of god (word of God meaning word of the people that made the game) that the Spotpass paralogues in Awakening aren't canon, no where has it ever been said that they aren't canon. Not to mention you didn't even acknowledge what I said about Shade, Yuzu, Emma, and Randal also being proof of the Fates continent and Elibe being in the same world as Archanea/Valentia/Jugdral Shamir in that conversation was most likely just talking about Dagda, where she's from, not the whole entire world. Fire Emblem Heroes isn't canon, its separate like Warriors, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions, it's a spin-off. If it was canon it would screw up the timeline of every game. Not to mention in Heroes Jugdral, Archanea, and Ylisse are treated as separate worlds for some reason even though they aren't, same with Binding Blade and Blazing Blade, they're treated as separate worlds despite being both set in Elibe.

@@Superlazerninja12 It should also be stated that there is no word of god on whether spotpass is canon either. So you can't assume they're canon as much as I can't assume they're noncanon. The spotpass 4 could very well be just fan service. This could very well be true. However I don't believe so. Given that Brigid and Almyra are also not as crazy as Fodlan. So she probably is talking about just dagda but even other nations we know of don't have weird shit like lizard people, mole people, and an actual real life goddess. My b on not acknowledging the ciphers. My thoughts on them is they fall into the same area as most the awakening dlc. Just a fun side story but definitely not canon. There's no wiggle room in the plot of SOV for Alm and friends to go help a bunch of strangers. Everything is back to back in that game. The only exception is Tatiana's mission. Also Anankos saw a vision of heroes who defeated a fell dragon in **another** world.

I like the idea of a brand split with Biohazard for large-scale action games like RE6, and Resident Evil for small-scale horror games like RE7.

@@The4thSnake I have had a similar idea as well. Like one type of Resident Evil for the more survival horror gameplay and one for the action ones since both playstyles have their merits so its a shame that it seems like we have to pick between the two. The Biohazard ones could follow the main characters like Chris and Leon since nowadays they would be involved with large scale infections while Resident Evil can focus on the more down to earth RE characters or maybe flesh out ones like Ethan since he definitely needs it.
