Hello everyone an welcome back in my channel.
In today's video I will be testing a new "seat" for my Versys, watch it and see for yourself what is it.......

I’ve done 15,000 miles around the British Isles on my Versys 1000 SE GT . Never felt any need to change the standard seat. Totally comfortable.

I’ve had plenty of bikes and this versys has the most comfortable stock seat I’ve ever experienced. I can’t imagine needing anything else

Versys 1000 is the first seat I've had not desire to change.

I have a sheep skin on my honda GB 500 seat it makes a big difference

I will try that. I bought a new Versys 1000 last year and the seat is one of the worst for comfort I've ever sat on!

I personally think that the seat in the mk3 is better than it was in the mk2

I don't blame you for giving the sheepskin a try. It's quite frustrating that we need to find these solutions on a long distance Tourer. I solved the problem by multi layering memory foam and furniture foam, 50mm in 4 layers, shaped to the seat....then my wife kindly stitched it into a vinyl pouch with velcro straps underneath that wrap under the saddle. Really solves the comfort problem and I just leave it on all the time. I definitely support all solutions that don't end in spending your life savings on something that should be designed in by the manufacturer 👍

Great idea Paul, and it certainly didn't cost millions, unfortunately it's not a solution for me, due to the lack of long legs like a model, after adding 3 to 5 cm of height on the seat I simply won't reach the ground. But I like your ingenuity👍

@MotoAndy Yes, definitely wouldn't work for everybody. Weirdly for me, the extra height helps, I'm about 1m 85cm, and with disproportionately long legs. One reason I like the Versys is the high std seat which helps to avoid sore knees....the cushion just helps a bit more.

Run a sheepskin on my Versys 1000 as well. Love it, does make a difference. Think after it ‘breaks in’ will be less slippery. Was my experience anyway.

Strap look for - Booster Spider binder extra it's about 5€, sheepskin I did found on Allegro.pl, it is the Polish equivalent of ebay allegro.pl/oferta/skora-owcza-4-kolory-skory-owcze-naturalne-xl-9935684929

Hello Andy.Jezdzisz tyle do Polski.Jest gdzieś na YouTubie gościu,który przerabia kanapy motocyklowe(gdzieś w pl) wygląda profesjonalnie jego robota.Jak wychodzi w praktyce nie wiem musisz popytać chłopaków. Widziałem tylko,że wycina w oryginalnej gąbce 2 cm i wkleja tam inna. Nic nie widać,wygląda tak jak oryginał. Chciałem pogadać o Moto (nie mam FB) jak Cię znaleźć? Pozdrawiam Rafal

Siemka, wymieniłem w moim poprzednim Versysie kanapę na Bagstera i nie byłem zadowolony, więc na chwilę obecną pozostanę przy bizonie. Na pogaduchy mogę ci dać maila ale ostatnio mało mam czasu na pogaduchy...
