Ms Brown is a sweet lady with a great smile. You can tell she actually enjoys being a caretaker for foster children. I can see how children would get attached to her immediately. She just seems very loving and protective. Its a shame these girls didnt just stay with Ms Brown!

If the children would've stayed with Ms. Brown's family the baby would still be alive, so sad.

I can’t stress enough how much I LOVE that they were teaching Layla sign language. Props to this family for doing that! I think ASL is a language everyone should know ❤️🤟🏻

I love seeing a loving foster parent. It takes a special type of human being to open up their home to children. Babies especially. It sounds like Ms. Brown really adored the kids in her care. She also seems responsible, and kind. Jennifer was sure to pile on the material things, but at the end of the day that isn’t what matters. Fall festivals aren’t what these kids will remember. They remember the kindness, and love. She was trying so hard to be stoic, but she is obviously very upset.

That one particular picture/exhibit must be horrendous. Every witness has had a strong emotional reaction after seeing it. Ugh - the defendant is a monster

These girls would have been blessed to have REMAINED in Ms Brown’s home, or any of the other foster homes they were in, before being placed with the Rosenbaums. You could tell when each of them testified, they were very loving and caring people, and cared very much for the girls. And, as for the DFCS worker for these girls, I’m anxious to hear her testimony - if she’s called to testify - because as a retired DFCS employee, what I’ve heard thus far really fires me up and is a primary reason DFCS is viewed by many in the public in such a negative light.

Sounds to me like either miss white who worked for DFACS or the grandmother really made sure a black woman did not have anything to do with white children. Miss brown did everything she was supposed to do for those girls. In fact, laila didnt get any of her immunizations till she was with miss brown. Seems that miss brown and her daughters loved millie and laila and provided them with a good home. Its a shame that people who had some sort of ties to the children, either being a caseworker or a family member(grandmother) seen only color when it came to miss brown. And by seeing only color, those 2 girls suffered because once again they were uprooted and put into another home, another strange enviroment. All this causes tremendous mental stress on those kids. And they made those 2 girls go through that just to put them with a white foster family. Disgraceful!

Miss Brown: God Bless you, your husband, and your family for taking in so many children and keeping them safe! Watching this in 2021, we wish Child Services had left both of Tessa’s daughters with you. They certainly failed these girls in addition to the Rosenbaum’s.

Imagine being falsely accused by troubled children, and not giving up on them; being disrespected by case workers and continuing to put up with it, for the children; then facing more false accusations in court by lawyers for the abusers - AND STILL testifying for sake of the children. Thank you Foster Mums who care so deeply.

Ms. Brown was clearly a caring foster parent. Can't help to think how differently thinks would've turned out if only these girls would've stayed with her. But the would've, should've don't matter now, do they? All these beautiful girls needed were family membes to put aside their differences and closed minded mentally to thrive and have a happy and joyful life.
