Had some difficulty following Sara Dube's points....too many "ummmmmm"s. I never got into debates at college level, but was fully aware (as an American) to be careful with the "ummmm"s and "and like"s that too many Americans seem to use in debates and other forms of public speaking. I can only hope that Sara has listened to her speech/debate side and will only improve over time.

@@INFINITE_AM_RADIO Well...more like WAITING FOR YET ANOTHER ONE TO DROP. It does distract and is a sign that her presentation wasn't prepared sufficiently. As I wrote...hard to follow her points....not impossible...but a "challenge'...especially when I have been spoiled by so many excellent speakers over the years...who learned BY FIFTH GRADE to no add "umms" AND "AND LIKES" TO OUR PRESENTATIONS. is this the best that Oxford offers today? If so...God help us.

What basic observations, said with intended poignancy. You lot have been looking at too much modern art. Gonna keep following this series of debates (2/6 so far) but really, really not hopeful. Really is this all you've got to muster? Really did people wear fucking bowties to listen to this drivel..? Btw I'm on this girls side of the debate.. but common, say something.. that goes for the 1st person too..
