I was heart broken when they dropped the news 😂 my mate even messaged me saying to not go on the internet if I’m in a bad mood 😂 but I had already seen it. I’m feeling a bit better about it now, thinking logically. No rushed movie and I’m all about the theory of them filming 11 and 12 back to back. Or at least getting 12 written at the same time. Also Tobin Bell is getting on a bit, though he’s very healthy for 81 and just gave his best performance (he’s not going anywhere any time soon :) ) He might want to retire. So he will probably be more than happy to do 11 and 12 very close together. All this waiting will be worth it once we have 2 more epic Saw movies! And yes! We have a lot of Saw to keep us going till then :) and non Saw wise we have so many great horror films coming up to keep us going too!

It would make sense on making Saw XII while making Saw XI. And even further planning ahead and making another few films to have it in their pocket. It also makes sense in terms of resources too, filming Saw XI scenes that tie into the same locations as Saw XII, so they wouldnt have to recreate them later.

Here’s my theory, they noticed how well Blumhouse has done with FNAF movie & they were in the box office the same time, both doing well financially. They want to time the release alongside Blumhouse again, it would make sense

The day after I ordered the 20th anniversary box set (and it was on sale) so at least I have that to hold me over lol

I definitely felt really dumb commenting on your last video about the supposed 'fake' delay date lol...Might be more info out right now while I am typing this too lol. Anyways, I do agree with you guys that they should've been a little more professional about the official announcement delaying the film another year. I know people don't want to hear this and this will sound negative but I think there's something internally that has been going on and that's why the date has been pushed back. It is possible they are trying to shoot 2 movies at once or back to back, it's definitely possible. I highly doubt it's been pushed back so they make sure they make a really good film. I'm pretty sure that's their intention from the start to an extent and their constraints (Jigsaw, Spiral excluded and maybe Saw 7 as that one was definitely rushed). They can shoot a Saw movie in 2 weeks. They have had a plan for future Saw films for many years and had plans before Saw 10. So to me it all points to something not good going on behind the scenes. Hope I am wrong. It is disappointing but for the franchise itself it seems like they are taking a hit doing this.

I really hope Tobin is okay. At his age, I worry when I hear about a delay

People who say don’t rush it need to understand tobin bell is 81 years old he can die any month now if they want to wrap up this story they need to do it soon don’t rush it obviously but they need to be swift or he could die before these movies come full circle and the story is finished

I think they realised that rushing a new saw out after the success of saw x wouldn't be a good idea the delay is sad but I'm sure it will turn out just as good as saw x

I'm disappointed that Saw XI got delayed till 2025 but I understand that they don't have a story being locked down and don't want to get rush it and release this year and the movie will be garbage like Saw 3D or Spiral. So, I hope that Saw XI will be good as Saw X.

obviously no big deal, except Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) is naturally getting a bit older. saw x was ok, but the age shown by Tobin and especially Shawnee did take a bit away from the movie. not their fault of course...and Tobin's acting was incredible, but you guys know what i mean

Gutted with the news,but since there was no word on it even being filmed or casted even yet,let alone plot details etc,it comes as no shock either.

As much as I like Saw, I kinda hope they keep this a mini trilogy in the series. Saw X, 11 and 12 as kinda it's own thing and they don't try and cram more than the 3 movies between 1 and 2.

It'll be well worth the wait. Perfection is key. With this news let's hope that they lock in Carey Elwes' character Dr. Lawrence Gordon to make his infamous return. Saw XI and the next chapter after XI will be epic. I have faith with #twistedpictures Producer's Mark Burg and Oren Koules along with Kevin Greutert as returning director as well as returning writer's Marcus Dunston and Patrick Melton. This movie is my idea too, and there’s a why it’s been delayed because of people like you just can’t seem to shut up about why it’s being delayed or why this why that or why it’s delayed don’t matter to me because I am going to get into this movie 10 and 11 is my idea for them to go back to the basics I am the one who gave them the idea of going back to the basics.
