It certainly feels surreal, doesn’t it? I imagine how it might feel, still personally I am just looking forward to see how things will go from here.

Hey brother, awesome video, really emotional. I totally get you, I was 2 years old when the pokemon anime was released, I absolutely loved it since the first time I watched and I can easily say that Pikachu is my favorite character when it comes to fictional stuff, even more than Ash, but I still think Ash is pretty cool . I watched it really often ever since. All my friends outgrew it, but I continued watching, even though people complained that it was always the same thing, I enjoyed every single episode of the anime. I also thought the day these 2 would retire would never come, and I was absolutely fine with that. However, here we are just 4 episodes away from their goodbye. It sucks for us who grew up with them, but I guess it makes sense, they beat the ultimate opponent and became legends. Not much else to do for them. I personally would have liked that ash aged a bit, and maybe would had won an actual real league like the Kanto, Johto or Kalos league. But honestly I just don’t want them to go. As much as it pains me, the anime is aimed at kids, we were the target audience back in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s but our time is over. The developers have a new generation as the target audience which means the old stuff is out the door. I personally will end my pokemon journey with Ash and Pikachu. Thankfully I have the previous 8 generations to watch as much as I want, to relive those moments. To me pokemon without Ash and specially pikachu is not pokemon, just today I saw that they are going to have a pikachu as a regular in the new anime, but nothing not even another pikachu that looks exactly the same will ever replace Ash’s Pikachu, he is a legend. I still have faith that they will make a few cameo appearances in the new anime, but I don’t have much hope. It would be cool if the Pokemon movies universe would still keep them as protagonists but I doubt it too. If they ever come back I will watch it again, but as of now my journey in the pokemon world is over when they leave. Sorry for the super long post 😅. I hope you read it, and again awesome video.

Jelly Donuts.... ): I left when Misty left too. But now and then I tuned in. I do miss... Ash... But I guess, like the ending of the movie says. We gotta say goodbye. Hope he has the best. Maybe one day he'll come back as the Champion and final boss for the finale. ... Now it's our turn to become Pokemon masters. \m/

Im glad he finally won for real, but yeah feel you that he deserved far more, doesn't feel like he isn't going to get beaten fast after that, but well at least its a great achievement, still hope he comesback in the new series as a secondary character, or final boss of the league or whatever, maybe finally aged up
