Cool. I haven't ever broke these down, and after watching how easily you disassembled them, I believe I will begin too now. I hope that your arthritis eases up for you and that the knee is able to heal without having surgery. I'm a hobby scrapper, so this is right up my alley. Thank you! Take care. Peace.

I ended up with a full 1 gallon bucket, 5 lbs. of the copper spools, and 1 lb. 2 oz. of the flat copper pieces.

thank you, it is doing a lot better, taking is slower then normal. and taking breaks to go easy on the knee. the wife is doing good, but she is planning to go back into surgery to fix the hernia and get rid of the colostomy

I broke my knee when I was a teenager , so for 45 years I’ve had knee pain , I just walk on it , some days are better than others . Surgery isn’t the answer , the pain is worse , and the recovery time is years . 👍🇨🇦

I find the quickest way to get the copper out once you get the plastic spool out. Is to cut the plastic and copper spool with side cutters from one side going toward the centre hole only. The copper comes out super easy.

Allen when we get up in the age we are one tends to get aches and pains but sir we worked hard for them 😂 excellent video I also save them but I cut them in half with tin snips but the way you do it keeps someone happy thanks for sharing this six stars brother

You got that right! we earned every little ache and pain, cutting them in half would be the fast way to go. the wife used to go pick up scrap with me, but age caught up with her a few years back

Hay here in missouri where I live mower deck's & push mower base's are short if the push one's are cut in half long ways and the rider one's are if cut into 36/18 or smaller of course. I'm in the process of cutting a few up myself today.

yes it is. every little bit helps. I even save my pennies that are dated 1982 and older. they started to make them out of zinc in 1983

I hope your knees do better , I got the same thing arthritis , they told me shots in the knee which helped a little but hurt. I been taking Tumeric and cbd that help more .

yes it is. but I can do it sitting down and give the knee a rest. I ended up with 5 lbs. of the copper spools, and 1 lb. 2 oz. of the flat #1 copper pieces, thanks for stopping by

Some of those donuts I just cut in half with side cutter instead of unwinding . Much faster

yes it would be faster. I let the wife do them, so she feels like she helped

Have you ruled out Lyme disease, but yes the x-ray ruled that out. I know several that have the bionic knee and they all wished it was done 10 years before. The c-19 sure put a tail spin in our operations in Canada.

the knee is slowly feeling better day by day. if I have to stay on the pills, so be it. at least I can keep going. I am not one to sit around much. unless I am out camping and fishing. thanks for stopping by
