Now that the large sheets of pressure treated plywood are installed under our house it is time to seal everything up. Once the entire underside of the house is enclosed we will begin closing in the piers with concrete and stone.
We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid" and our family life vlogs can be found on our secondary channel "Wild Wonderful After Show"

Your children are absolutely adorable. You can never stop posting your videos because we need to see your beautiful gang grow up. Your family is amazing and I am sure your children watch the interactions between you and Josh and will one day have families that will rival this one here and now. I have always thought your home was beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. It is hard for me to imagine the finished product once the deck and the stone work are up. What a wonderful and cozy place to call home. I love it and you all as well.

WOW!! WELL YOU SAID AT THE END IS SO PROFOUND! There are so many couples that their life is one person playing against the other. There are some people that feel like their entire married life has been nothing but a running battle. It is awesome watching you too say goals together and find ways to achieve them together. The part I like best though is when you laugh together!

I heard the other day lumber/wood is 188% higher this time of year then it was last year, crazy. I admire the perseverance you both have, mostly I admire how you work together and respect each other. I heard about escalated limber prices on a piece on NPR recently. The author attributed this to tariffs on Canadian lumber. As many others have said before, he claimed that tariffs are a tax on the American consumer.

Such hard long hours you guys work and both of you work harder together or apart than any people I've seen, with teasing and displays of affection for each other and children, without any bickering or bantering between you. This is what makes you so special to most of us who watch your channel. It's also teaching me how to be more forgiving as I was beaten unmercibly and verbally as a young person. So much, I carried hatred behind low self-esteem. You guys have made me do and feel better, just by trying to emulate your actions in my personal life.

I can only imagine and appreciate all the hard work and long hours it takes for you to produce these videos on top of raising a family, building a home, taking care of all the animals, schooling the kids, and still maintaining a strong marriage through it all.
