Secrets of Šibenik 🇭🇷 Exploring Abandoned Places | Croatia

Жыл бұрынWe explored abandoned coastal guns and bunkers connected by tunnels on a sea-side cliff in Croatia. Built by the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in the 30s, they did not see action until the 12 days they lasted during the Axis Invasion of WW2. We then explore a mysterious Austro-Hungarian Building that was most recently a police station before being abandoned. Lastly, we come across a weird little island in the middle of a lake/ abandoned Salt field.

Nah bro, that's actually a peninsula nearby, they say it was built to protect against the Ottomans, but seems like more of plague quarantine to me

Idk If you think about this sort of comments, but i know a place named Rab, we’re an old hotel is. When I was there, 3years ago, the hotel was closed cause of the bad quality and now is going to be redesigned or even be destroyed. I really don’t know what is there now, but I think it can be looked up on the internet.

Jeffery Epstein island 😂😂 Those old Austro Hungrarian buildings have imo very nice architecture sadly to be so devastated now. Downtown Zagreb is made by AH and after 2020 earthquake I only look up when walking, facedes were ruble even before. :D (bit exaggerating) but yeah. I'm no too comfy. Happy NY

Yeh bro I remember seeing all the photos of the stones that fell, crazy fortunate that no one got taken out. But yeh I've always wondered what's inside the abandoned ones whenever I walk thru zagreb. And that island is probably just a summer camp after thinking about it, still weird though 😆

@@TattooedTraveler My old man used to have office in one of those. They drilled wall to fit TV on wall, bricks just fell out. 😄 Steps are mostly made of wood (not crappy one) it feels nice actually. Newer or dunno more posh AH buildings had concrete steps, some hallways are covered even in mosaics and have very very nice paintings on ceilings. P.S Ceilings or room height are very high and windows are big. Gives somewhat of that old posh feeling.

@@TattooedTraveler True. In Zagreb AH flats aren't abandon they are pricey af. There are old AH factories, I would like to visit those. Like "Nada Dimic" basically at downtown of Zagreb built in late AH.

Kingdom off Yugoslavia fell fast becase Serbs were only one who fighted..Croats sided immediately with Axis ,like already on second day off invasion..while Serbia was attacked by Germans,Hyngary and Bulgaria ... Romania while not directly giving army gived artillery support and free passage for Axis ..so from all sides ..while Italian entered try Istria
