I was always under the impression that She-Hulk couldn't turn back into a human. I never realized that she stayed big and green by choice, which I think makes her even cooler than I had originally thought.

The Hulk does that in Endgame but I don't know if he does it in the comics too. She-Hulk has way more control over her powers than Bruce though.

There was a time where that was the case. Reed Richards fixed it by sending her through a dimensional portal and then pulling her back halfway through, thus resetting her powers.

It's why people hated when they made She-Hulk all buff and full of rage recently because she was NEVER about any of that she was calm and smart. Her Hulk power was more or less based on confidence yet like was said here her physical state in her human form really just boosts her Hulk form prowess.

She-Hulk had improved her strength through general conditioning when she took Ben's place on the Fantastic Four after Secret Wars. She later had a graphic novel where she was taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D. as a potential menace after her cousin went on one of his most impressive rampages. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier was compromised by radioactive cockroaches and crashed. She-Hulk tried to prevent the Power Core from detonating. Afterwards, she believed that she was locked in her Gamma form. Years later, Doc Samson revealed that she didn't switch to Jen because of a self-induced mental block. She was just happier as She-Hulk for years.

She Hulk is underrated, she has many interesting character traits. I feel like there is ALOT of potential with that character if a good writer starts a new She Hulk comic set. That is a AWESOME way to tie her strength to ACTUAL effort, not just generic friiendship/anger powers seen in many stories. Plus her original niche of being a character who breaks the 4th wall, strange but yeah she did it before Deadpool. I thought it was super cool when I found that out. She was one of the earliest characters who broke the 4th wall as a normal thing. In fact in one of the games she grabs her health bar and smacks the opponent with it.

The best power-up moment has to be from overlord when Ainz fights the adventurers in his colloseum. He takes off his ring, the one adventurer with the ability to see mana sees his insane mana pool and just vomits out of shock.

Brad Morales I'm not that far yet on the novel, so I'm just speculating. it could also be that because it's a world based on a fictional world he's dehumanizing the locals on his quest to find some 'real humans'.

The actual reason she- hulk challenge him in the first place was because Adam warlock wanted her to stop the challenger from abusing the powers of the power stone he had, he had been using to win all of his matches. Before the rematch she- hulk tricked him into temporarily giving up then proceeded to woop his ass.

A memorable power up moments for me is superman vs darkseid, the "world made out of cardboard" scene where he punches darkseid so hard he sends him on a flat trajectory for several miles, through skyscrapers, then flies ahead to meet him and hammer blow drives him into the ground. Just a taster of the man of Steel "cutting loose" Another one also from superman is the trailer for the dc universe online game where he flies from the sun to destroy the world's most powerful villains. The part where he just lets black adam throw multiple full strength blows, stops him, then kills him with his heat vision. Superman csn be kinda terrifying, knowing he has that raw strength but never uses it.

I think a great one is from the animated movie Superman Vs. The Elite, where he literally shows destroying the bad guys would be as simple as turning over his hand, but he holds back by like 99.9999...999%

That is why Superman is such an amazing hero. He knows he can stop crime by just killing them, but he spares them in the hope that they'll change. He could literally kill basically every villain, but he has the faith they'll change. That is what makes him a hero, it's not his strength or powers, it's that he has high morals and that he's filled with faith and hope that people will change.

@@benjeesilv1596 fair point, but since supes has to maintain the level of control at all times. I think it would be fair to say that he has a base level, like goku in his normal form that he ramps up like going super saiyan. You could also argue because of the yellow sun superman is always in "super saiyan mode",since being near a red sun would make him no stronger than an ordinary man of his stature would be.

@@Evasive1 his real power, the reason he's a hero isn't based on his physical capabilities... it's measured by him as a person, he's not a hero because he's big strong man, it's because he's a good person. Anybody can have insane powers and it doesn't make him a hero, what makes somebody a hero is doing the right thing even if it handicaps you, it's about helping others and doing what is right.

My favourite isn’t exactly a power-up moment, but in ‘My Hero Academia’ when Kirishima, Red Riot, has an existential crisis after having his hardening broken through, only to come out the other side of it with one of the coolest lines I’ve ever heard: “IF I CRACK I’LL HARDEN AGAIN! STAY STRONG, PROTECT OTHERS, EVEN IF IT MEANS YOUR LIFE!” It really hypes me up.

My favorite power up moment is in Aang's fight with the fire lord where his chi gate gets unblocked because a fuckin rock hits the exact perfect spot on his back and he enters the Avatar state. Chills every time

There was also the Geoff Johns story line. Where they discover that when the Hulk gets uncontrollably stronger from anger. Since Jennifer Walters was shot she felt fear. Thus She-Hulk actually get uncontrollably stronger the more fear she feels. It was in the "Search for She-Hulk" Story line.

My favourite is in HunterXHunter (it's partly on netflix, more episodes coming) when Gon, the nice friendly kid, finally says fuck it all, I dont care if this is the end. For context, going super saiyin is basicly not a thing in that universe. However their power can increase exponentially if they make an oath. Gon gives up his entire life for temporary Power (he is like 13 at that point) and just beats his foe into a bloody pulp.

When johnny blaze gets knocked unconscious by the hulk, and Dr. Strange reveals that Johnny is basically a limiter for Ghost Riders full power, and without him awake Ghost Rider is basically unstoppable.. and when Ghost Rider regains consciousness he just nukes the city and then fucks off because there is no innocent beings to save

The scene from the end of Infinity War that they cut of Banner and Hulk coming to an understanding, the 'live and let live' scene is so infuriating by how good it is. Since they cut it, we're robbed of any proper Hulk arc, which is the bare minimum they could have given us since he didn't have a solo movie past his first one and he barely got any character development in the Avengers movies.

The best power up moments to me are at the end of Persona 3, 4, and 5, were the protagonist would use the power of friendship to beat the big bad. My favorite is from Persona 3 Were, with the motivation given to him by his friends, he goes flying into the moon, takes a hit from the embodiment of Death its self, gets the Power of Universe, summons Jesus, and uses his own soul to seal away Death.

For a PROPER Hulk out event, I advise either World War Hulk or Heart of the Monster, both Greg Pak's Incredible Hulk run in Marvel. Build up to WWH is Planet Hulk, during the first Civil War event. It's good enough to make you cheer for the big green machine by the time WWH kicks off. I don't want to spoil anything, but Hulk almost breaks the world, not speaking figuratively but literally. He beats down almost every insanely powerful hero you can think of. This is hard to say "read this it's amazing" and not spoil anything.

My two cents: My favorite Power Moment in any movie/show is the one in Dark City when he melts the rack around him. The only time I can remember Rufus Sewell playing a hero instead of a villain and DAMN if he isn't a beautifully terrifying hero.

The Logic for training your non-gamma form is what was followed by Alpha Flight's Walter Langowski. He was a football player that was Bruce's college roommate, and the thinking was that with him being less prone to anger and being an athelete, he'd be a Canadian Deterrent to Hulk. Of course, the gamma blast he got actually opened a door to let Tanaraq, an old beast of the North, possess him to grant his powers as Sasquach. Man, Alpha Flight would make for a goodass episode. Just one all about how fucking cool Puck is.

I actually know this story. The champion of the universe was able to beat lots of strong hero’s. Some of the hero’s he beat were beta ray bill, the silver surfer and I believe sentry. But the only reason he was able to win against some of the strongest superheroes was because he had an infinite stone. When she hulk went for the rematch it was a one on one no weapons allowed. So the champion of the universe removed the infinite stone and that’s how she-hulk was able to beat him. But she was OP at that point so it didn’t really matter

in the Ang Lee movie, the rage that hulk has, is also a part of his mutation. the more excited he gets the stronger he gets, but he gets angry all the time because he is different from normal humans. they show that in the flash backs when he was a child and the murder happened. before that, when things were good, he used to get abnormally angry.

That moment with Rock Lee against bone guy whom i forgot the name of, he actually did not yet know about what happened he drinks alcohol. He got drunk entirely by accident, he thought he was taking some medicine to help him at the price of his injuries getting worse and accidentally brought sake. Instead he just starts kicking ass and basically having no idea what is even going on anymore, at least from what i recall the entire explanation is from Guy while things are just happening.

Karl, i 100% agree with the MCU Hulk not getting angry thing. I read a lot of comics and i wanted like the WORLD BREAKER Hulk moment. Where he stomps once and nearly sends the whole eastern sea board in to the ocean, and Thanos just pisses himself for a second. That would have been hype

Lee doesn't have as many POWERS as everyone else but in terms of physical skill I think he might actually be number one. Dude ONLY has normal hand to hand combat (besides the gates I guess) against people yeeting moons at other people, and he just rolls up to the battle field with "catch these hands" attitude and usually walks away from the fight, making him better than people with actual ninja powers.

His strength doesn't work the same way. His Hulk form isn't dependant on his Banner form.
