My mother traveled to Turkey for the first time with my father in the mid 1990's. She was walking down the street and suddenly had a complete nervous panic attack. She had to go back to the hotel with my father. She said she knew every street and lived there in a past life. Never had she believed in such things. To this day, her hand to God, she knows she was there in a past life, a life that was difficult to say the least.

When I was 25 I went to a psychic for the first time. She told me that I had three children , two in the physical & one in the spiritual. I looked at her confused because I had two children ,not 3 . She said , I'm talking about the daughter you had a miscarriage with. I immediately started to cry & she said she wants you to know she chose not to come into the world at that time. But she loves you & she will come back to you as a grandchild. But she might not be a girl. She said ,but you will know me by the mole on my neck right where you have one. Same side on the left. I was flabbergasted to say the least ,mainly because it was a little girl I miscarriaged! Other things she went on to tell me were very accurate as I said I was 25yrs old at the time of the reading & I'm now in my early 50's Well my youngest Son had my first Grandchild & I felt such a deep connection to him even before he was born. I figured it was because it was my first grandchild. But when he was handed to me for the first time I had this overwhelming feeling of familiarity & deep connection to him. I was in Love instantly! Then he moved & I saw his neck ! He had a tiny mole the left side of his neck!!!! Then he looked right at me & stared & I knew I just knew he was the soul of the daughter I lost! He's three & I have such a bond with him! Sometimes I feel bad because he will cry for me & not his Mommy or my Son & there's no consoling him until I come. I can't tell you how many nights I had to go over to their house & put him to bed or calm him down,, because he only wanted me. I have never told my daughter in law ,whom I love dearly ,because I wouldn't want to hurt her or my Son. I'm Mimi & he has my whole heart💙💙💙

Everybody thought she was crazy when she first started telling us these things now I believe are in a spiritual awakening all over this planet people are truly waking up and it’s a marvelous time to be alive!

I remember when I discovered my grandma believed in past lives and reincarnation and after that we talked about it all the time. She said it was cool to talk about it with someone that didn't think she was crazy for it! And we told each other we would do our best to reunite in our next lifetime. I really hang on to this now that she has passed away. Its one of the only things I look forward to when I think about reincarnation. It's the only reason I even want to incarnate again. It's weird. wow, I've never heard of a public person to talk about this stuff... and seeing a man from a different dimension. You have to have a courage to do that. Most people wouldn't say anything like that out of fear of being ridiculed.

Then a process of making the adjustments that are required to insure we never contradict , in word, or deed , that truth. In essence , we become integral with , and or a part of that truth. It lives in us. It becomes a part of us that cannot be taken away. Encoded perhaps in our DNA. To become , if not a memory, a part of our intuitive sense of right and wrong. The source of that gut feeling you can't explain, but you know. A certainty you cannot justify. The source not apparent but real.

He asked such interesting questions. And was kind, polite and inquisitive about it. Whether it was his cup of tea or not. I’ve seen many interviewers patronize, and sometimes, insult her and it’s so unnecessary. I myself don’t know exactly what I believe, but I like to hear her out. She’s a smart, charismatic, interesting woman.

I'm not sure she realizes that the reason she is an icon is precisely because she's happy being exactly who she is. I remember when she wrote Out On a Limb, and on one level, I was thinking, "oh, no, she's gone off the deep end," but on another, very important level, I realized the deep end is where I am most at home. She sort of demystified the mystic so people like me became, so to speak, "normal." Plus she's a fabulous actor AND character actor and funny as heck.

I remember Lemuria, I was a kid back then when there’s no internet, my father was talking about Atlantis and in my mind I’m like “wait wasn’t there another one? what was it called? It ends with ia…oh it’s Lemuria” And the moment I remembered it, it gives me chills and made me cry. I thought it was just my imagination though so I tried to forget about it despite having this nostalgic feeling but then the internet gets more accessible and I was in senior high that time when I starts hearing about other people’s experience with Lemuria and that’s when I realize it wasn’t just me and it was never an imagination.

I must be a young soul, I've only ever had 1 deja'vu experience. It was in Windsor Castle, in one of the Dining Rooms with a really long, shiny table. It was like I went back to a distant memory of sitting at that table. I was bored, and watching the rain fall on a window above me. My companions returned to find me standing there in a trance, shook me out of it and we moved on with the tour, but I was quite freaked out by what happened. Also it was not raining while we were there.

Shirley did a mini-series in the early 80's that started my wake up call. I've had the feeling she was my sister in another lifetime.

I love Shirley MacLaine because her personality is so unique and she’s a brilliant actress and very relatable, my and my friends went to Gran Canaria and I got tired of clubbing there so i said goodbye to my friends at the club and headed to our hotel room and the minute I hit the pillow and closing my eyes , i saw two white domes that were on a raised grounds and they looked as if they were emitting some impossible to describe vibes that gave me the most incredible peace that I had never experienced before and it was just a spilt second experience and yet it left such an expression on my soul and mind that I wanted it to last forever and in a way it has lasted forever because those white domes in a blue haze looked so out of this world and every time I get depressed I tend to bring that image back to my mind and I still can benefit from that scene , I’ve been searching for two decades to find out what those domes were all about and occasionally I suspected that the scene I saw 20 years ago had something to do with our distant past but wasn’t sure until I heard Ms MacLaine mentioned about the anomalies she has experienced in that part of the world and the connection between the lost continent of Atlantis and The Canary Islands because I knew that some ancient historian had had described The Atlantis as concentric circles and now I think it’s possible that the Atlantis was covered by a dome but I saw 2 white domes in that quick flash in my mind so I don’t know what the second dome I saw was all about ?

I totaly believe her. I know of one past life I had. I was an African American doctor that lived in Georgetown, d.c.. I was dressed in top hat and tails going somewhere. I felt it was in the 19th century from what I can remember of it.

I too, like many others on this board commend Shirley for her openness on her experiences. I too, like Shirley have had many experiences. Many years ago, visiting my sister-in-law in a small town, somewhere near Beeville Texas, where after a short stroll I sat down on a small riverbank, amid an eerie quiet and icy cold, in mid-summer, not far from her backyard, I saw twelve ghostly faces of soldiers hovering above a huge Willow Tree to my left, that seemed to grow out of the water next to the river bank. Returning to my sister and brother in laws house I told them about what I had seen. They looked at me puzzled like I had lost my mind. They said, the river I saw, and the trail that ran through it, was called the Old San Antonio Trail, where at one time, a shipment of gold from San Antonio was being transferred south to Corpus Christie during the Civil War. Warned about an impending ambush by their scout, the soldiers then dumped the chest full of gold into the river. All were killed but one soldier who survived to tell the story. Upon hearing my story, my brother-in-law showed me a history book where this event was recorded and I was dumbfounded. The soldiers I saw had the same color uniform and caps as the confederates in that book. Turns out I had seen through the veil into another dimension. After lunch we all walked back down to the river, and to my surprise, all I saw was a dried up river bed. No willow trees, and no water. I was dumbfounded. I knew then I had lived many lives before. I am also a writer like Shirley, however, I still write in the old style of writing. I wasn't always a writer. I am currently 75 years old, and a widow. My husband of 52 years passed away three months ago. In 2011, when I was 64 years of age, I had to have surgery, where during my surgery the doctor performing my surgery punctured both my lungs, and I died on the operating table. I was dead for almost 2 minutes, turning purple, before they realized I wasn't breathing. The surgeon fled the room, and the rest of the crew managed to re-start my heart. I was placed on a breathing machine and brought back to life. When I awoke 3 days later I was a different person. Both my speech pattern and thought pattern had changed. I have always liked her and admired her for her beliefs and not letting other's opinions deter her message. She was/is ahead of her time still even with lots of people awakening. I had a past life remembrance as a small person. I was at a hotel during happy hour and saw several small people dancing and having a great time. I got very emotional when I saw them and I eventually smiled, I was so happy seeing them having a great time. My time as a small person was totally different and that's the emotions I brought up. I was more of a carnival side-show than having a pleasant lifetime. That moment helped me heal and I still dislike hearing the word midget because it rubs me the wrong way.

I had a psychic reading years ago, the reader told me he and I were brothers in a past life in Atlantis. I kind of dismissed it. He did however, describe my future wife whom I hadn’t yet met.
