Peggy Holds a degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. As a mother to four sons, Peggy spends her time divided between teaching and creating new patterns for Silhouette Patterns, a line of contemporary patterns available to the home sewer. During her career she has taught college courses in pattern drafting and design. She professionally drafts patterns for individuals and manufacturers all across the country ranging from golf apparel to black tie performances. In addition to apparel designs, Peggy has designed the patterns of the costumes worn by the Mens Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medalist, Elvis Stojko.

It takes 6 weeks for Peggys patterns to arrive here (Australia), I could download a pattern and have it printed at a printers within an hour. That is why most of my patterns are PDF. I still buy peggys patterns...but by the time they get here I have forgotten what I was going to sew and have to research what I was watching to get enthusiastic again. So for people like me PDF's are fantastic

I get that most people think they have to join them together...but now we have AO printing, so it is just like the original pattern you would purchase.

This was very informative Peggy. Agree, please no PDF patterns, what a nightmare they are. Loved your proportion for measuring the model height picture & multiple by our height. Best wishes on your new venture
