Ingredients for Masala:
1 kg chicken with bones
3 tablespoon ginger & garlic paste
1 ½ cup ghee or oil
1/2 kg potatoes peeled and cut each potato into four pieces
300 grams or 3 to 4 medium sized onions cut in thin slice
1 cup plain yogurt
4 to 5 tablespoon (50 to 65 grams) homemade sindhi biryani masala powder
1 heaped teaspoon salt
Ingredients for rice;
5 cups (1 kg) basmati rice
4 to 5 pieces green cardamom (choti elaichi)
4 to 5 pieces cloves (laung)
1 teaspoon black cumin seeds (kala zeera)
2 pieces cinnamon sticks (dalchini)
1 black cardamom (Bari elaichi)
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (safed zeera)
4 teaspoon salt
Ingredients for biryani layer;
1 cup plain yogurt
4 to 5 whole green chilies
4 to 5 chopped green chilies
1 cup chopped mint leaves (podina)
2 medium sized tomatoes cut in slices
