Hey man, thank you for documenting this setup. You are definitely doing the mk4 owners out there a big service. Maybe even one day I would take up this project to convert my Jetta wagon to AWD, it's definitely alot but imo it's def worth it and very special. Again thank you for this 🙏

Appreciate the kind words! Definitely going to be worth it and hopefully this can help shed some light into it. I truly believe it’s more tedious than it actually is difficult, and it’s just a matter of knowing what to do and what parts are needed, which I hope to compile when it’s all said and done for anyone to reference.

Can I use the Audi TT Mk1 fuel tank on Mk4 Golf for the AWD swap?

Is there a part 5? Doing the swap myself but trying to find a propeller shaft to fit the 1.8t to the r32 diff

Haven’t had much time to work on the car in the past year or so unfortunately. Will definitely be documenting when I take it further though

Hey i got a question. is it possible to swap the 1,8t into the r32 shell? i see everyone normally cuts the floor, so probably not but curious if you looked into that at all.

Definitely could, but I’m using this project to learn more about welding and fabrication which is a hobby I dabble with on the side

Not even close haha. It’s on pause right now, just bought a house and working to get setup to do more intense work like this. Might have some progress on metal prep in the next month or so if I can manage

the project and really the channel has been on hold for now with the new house. Taking more time than anticipated. Hoping to get back on everything sometime soon!
