good idea guys! Keeps the kitchen cooler than boiling that big pot of water. I would probably just dump all that melted butter onto the corn and toss before putting in the slow cooker. Looks great, thanks!

I definitely need to try this. The best corn I ever ate was in the US, so if this method improves the fresh corn we get here, then I'm all for it! (We don't get the amount of sun you guys do, so our corn isn't as sweet as it could be)
