As I understand the law as the tackler you are not allowed to rip the ball. But what I saw is McKenzie got hit so hard he lost the ball forward and Steyn then grabbed it. So should be scrum SA or actually penalty to SA since McKenzie was not rolling away.

We got hard done by that call. To be fair though, the IRB generally sides with the offense so the ref, given a 50/ 50 situation where it wasn't clear who had the ball, had to penalize the defense.

To my mind there is no way Steyn had control of the ball before he hit the ground. An argument could be made for the knock but in real time I thought the ref made the right call.

Well, technically he recovered a knock on. But yes, the penalty should not have been given as he was the ball carrier at that time. This is why we need the Captains referral. The ref can't send that kind of all upstairs even though it's game changing as it'd slow the game down too much., But I'd like to give the captains an opportunity for a referral to use at their discression. The Kiwi try at the line-out was also a knock on and should have been referred.

You can call it bias or whatever you want but the players are getting special treatment by not being diciplined. He can bring up the Cory Hill issue at a different point in time but he's focussed on the issue in NZ and specifically NZR at this point in time. The issue is there, it needs to be addressed and he's using his platform to call NZR out. Just because there are other injustices doesn't mean he has to be silent on this one. There's no reason to take offence unless it's untrue, which it isn't.

@@snagsTS yeah - it reminded me of my school rugby days, where our coaches always said the last 15 mins always counted the most. Players are tired, mentally, physically. Also, because SA is a BEHEMOTH when it comes to defence and taking space, it was amazing to see the heart and ferocity (synonymous with the Japanese) that comes phase after phase, and then that actually being the reason they won. Like their skillset, endurance etc. didn't win it per say, as much as their hunger to actually win it. Really memorable.

Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
