The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to make a carnival-themed dress for her 21st birthday, and the woman tried on her dress and posted a picture of her in it. She’s suing for the cost of the costume and a photo shoot. The defendant admits she might have overstepped by putting on the dress, but she wanted to demonstrate it with the headdress. She’s countersuing for unpaid work.

The only suggestion I would have for the defendant is next time put an outfit that she makes on a mannequin or some sort of a tailored model that's been around for decades even centuries. It's professional it removes the personal thing that gets in the way.

@user-gd2xf8he7m There was a photo of the outfit on a mannequin show in court. So, the defendant did have a mannequin. It was still very creepy of her to try it on AND then send a picture to the plaintiff. In any case, I think the plaintiff's case was weak. She took the outfit, wore the outfit, and had professional pictures done. So cootie fear or not, she wore it.

This plaintiff’s complaints were absurd. The Defendant tried on the outfit? So what? If you go buy an outfit at a store, most times it’s been tried on in the dressing room by someone looking for their size. And all her issues were the result of her poor planning. Why would you accept a custom outfit so close to the day of your event. That should’ve been secured days in advance. She also has no proof of the majority of her claims. Her case had no merit. Anyway, the Defendant is gorgeous. Very statuesque. And I’m glad she won. *Meryl Streep voice* That’s all!

It's creepy and out of line for the seamstress to try it on uninvited. You're hiring someone to make you a piece, not buying something off the rack, it shouldn't be worn by anyone else without pemission. I agree with her on that. It was unhygenic and gross. But- she wasn't so upset that she refused delivery. She's an entitled mess, complaining and suing for what she is.

"I don't know how I could have lost." You actually have to PROVE damages, not just talk about them. Your mommy might wait over 20 min. for you to get your ducks in a row, but a judge sure won't! Be PREPARED for court, and also don't wait until the day of to get an outfit. It sounds like the plaintiff is entitled. She only cared about what SHE had to do those days, no cares about what the dressmaker had to do those days.

People need to realize nobody owes you shit. You make choices in your life and then deal with the consequences of your actions. The entitlement is ridiculous. Seems like the comments are worried about the wrong thing. Worried about how the plaintiff rather spend her birthday, what sexuality and gender the litigants identify as and their appearances. You guys contradict yourself through and through.
