One of my favorite sweet and savory meals, this Soy Sesame Chicken recipe was created one evening when I was trying to use up what I had in my kitchen. Yep it one one of those days I had to purge my fridge and pantry to make room for groceries.
This dish is now a favorite in my home, with the kids asking for it almost every week!
I serve this with steamed rice, however, chow mein would be great with this dish too.
SOY SESAME CHICKEN
🥣1 cup dark soy sauce
🌰3/4 cups light brown sugar
🥢1/4 cup toasted sesame oil
🍯1/4 cup honey
🧄6 garlic cloves, chopped
🥢2 - 4 Tbsp ginger, chopped
🌱1/4 cup green onion, chopped
🍗12 - 15 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
