Briefcases tend to give me such bad memories. I changed schools in the middle of high school and if that wasn’t bad enough, the head of sixth made all the new students (including myself) wear name tags on the first day. My former school had briefcases instead of backpacks so I figured this new school would as well but I was wrong. I was called briefcase wanker for the rest of my years.

I got the combo bag in the same color in December. I loved the thoughtfulness of the bag but I wasn’t hot on the material. It just didn’t feel luxurious enough to me. But for those that like the material, this is a great bag. I wish they made one in leather or used twill instead. A darker color blue perhaps. Also, the combo felt like a beast. The Cary might be better suited for my needs.

Hi, since the double briefcase have its D rings offset (not in the centre unlike the single), when you carried it using the shoulder strap, does it tend to lean outwards (or inwards)?

Can you try Mahi leather? Full grain leather, YKK hardware, customizable, made to order, and direct to consumer. I also just heard of Goral footwear - handmade in england white sneakers for $200? Anyways I always appreciate your videos!

I read somewhere that you can attach this to your suitcase handle with some sort of attachment. Any comments on this vs the tumi sleeves on their briefcases? this looks much nicer than the some of the comparable price point tumi briefcases but its nice to have that back sleeve

I do miss being able to slide onto my carry-on. My Satchel and Page bag has that built in and it’s amazing. The attachment is an after thought and not as nice as built in TUMI

Be careful! I bought this bag, liked it at first but began using it and found it poor designed. Worst thing was the handles, they made my hands go numb. The company will not accept returns unless its completely unused and still wrapped.

Great review, of a great-looking bag! I’m a broke-ass student and need to upgrade from a backpack. Would you consider reviewing some of those ’cheaper’ leather briedcases you see on etsy? They’re all around my price range of about 200€. Or anything else that’s 200€ or below. All the reviews I find are of really expensive briefcases and nothing in the lower end of the spectrum. Would really appreciate it, thanks!

'I’m a broke-ass student - NOT' If you are running around with a $200 bag (while in school), I think you are living-large as a student. [;-\. I would have been glad to have a JanSport convertible backpack. Just saying....

Anthony C Brown I have an expensive taste in no thanks to people like the kavalier here ;) and I live by the motto of not buying cheap things as it would be more expansive in the long run. I’m also good at saving and budgeting. Presently still saving that 200€.

The Kavalier yeah, there’s a whole sea of them! Some are done by independents, but a good chunk are done by some ‘companies’. Some have websites, some operate only via etsy. They all have interesting designs and claim to use high quality materials. Impossible to make sense of what they are without someone trustworthy trying it out 😏
