Thank you! I've been keeping fish since a little boy but was never educated on the science. I started getting into koi a few years ago and went through a crash course building ponds and filtration systems. Switching back to Angels made things much easier. Lol

Been there! Thanks for watching! I would either separate the others to a second tank or make a divider for your current setup. I have a DIY divider vid but if you need one on the fly, go to a home improvement store and get a light defuser panel. It's the white plastic grate material you see on a lot of commercial fluorescent light fixtures covering the bulbs. I know that was a lot but if you can get it, it's super cheap and easy the make to size.

+jacob tindall ok good. Cold water changes and frozen food works for me. At least 3 feedings a day. If I do a 50% water change, and my current temp is 80 degrees f, I temp the new water at 75 -76 degrees f so they get a drop of 2-3 degrees. I am pretty sure we are the only goofs over here not using the metric and Celsius systems. Lol the only other thing I'm cautious about is not changing their environment. Don't move slate, plants, add or remove fish. It seems that any slight change to my pairs causes a 2-4week stop in spawning.
