240 Grams Dosa Rice
50 Grams Beaten Rice
5 Grams Fenugreek Seeds
80 Grams Grated Coconut
170 Grams Jaggery
100 ml Sour Buttermilk
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Rock Salt (to taste)
Water (as needed to grind)
Ghee (to cook)
Butter (to serve)

Megel amma 2 bhag tandul , 1 tsp metti anni 1 mushti udada dali ghalat ashillli anni daata pho , goada kudako ,soi . Tummi udada dali ghal ni , monu nimgile . Hello Bapamma and Ashwin. So good to see our family favourite surnali dosa. The mild flavour of methi in the fermented batter is simply too good. My grand daughter's friend,, Sophia's , grandmother enjoyed it so much when I made for them some years ago in Charlotte. They are excellent bread makers, hence loved these surnalis. Beautiful video Ashwin.

On National Highway to Mumbai from Mangalore...near Baindoor, there was a small hotel, named Shanbagh hotel. There they served a small plate with same sized three surnalis piled up with blob of butter and sugar sprinkled

Spoons and davlo after mixing the gravy kept on gas and again dipped in randai is not good. Instead keep a plate and keep on it.
