Great Video, no need to apologise. appreciate the effort that goes into making this content. Those stencils on the left wing fuel filler points and just outboard of the left boom look like they could do with some Doog magic working on them......?? Just an observation. Take care.

Just a option. For your polished struts, Humbrol polishable paint is great. You can brush it on or air brush it on.

Thanks Doog for the great tips and tricks. Do you think that "No step" scuff could have been done reasonably with a small electronics or watchmakers Phillips head screwdriver? Just thinking about what have around to help with un-newness like you did. Just curious. Looking forward to seeing even more of this build, it's really coming along (despite the carpet gremlins assistance 😜)

I'd be worried about doing some serious damage to the paint with something like a screwdriver, but it's also a matter of control.

@@DoogsModels Can see what you mean. Was thinking of the bevel from the point back already being at at appropriate angle. Will find something more suitable when I get to that point. Keep up the solid builds and videos. Thanks for all the hard work!

I see your issues with painting the model not fully assembled. I used to do this all the time but on one kit I dropped the canopy and promptly trod on it destroying it and ruining an otherwise good model. I now assemble the whole thing and spend a little more time masking. It is looking great though.

Do you think your wet transfer issue was caused from laying down the transfer of rivets? Since you tested the transfer out on a basic plastic model piece with no rivets you had no issues......just a thought.

No, but I think the H30 may have played a role.

I wanta know how you did all this work without breaking off any of those itsy-bitsy landing gear linkages that stick way out of the bottoms of the wells for a large portion of the build. I broke most of them before the model was done. 😡 🤬

have you ever done much in the way of automotive models? Your weathering techniques seem to be missing from that genre.

Nope. I've futzed around, but 1) all but the very best auto kits feel like they're a few decades behind other genres in terms of engineering and fit and 2) the Venn diagram of those very best auto kits and subjects I'm interested in are pretty much two separate circles. That said, never say never.
