Matt, this series is awesome. What I need to do now is go back and list the order of your processes and hang it over my bench. I've always been blurry on when to start doing what. Panel line wash before or after matte coat. Oil weathering before or after other processes. That kind of thing. Summarizing your steps so I can follow them later, or knowing how to break the rules, will go a long way to improving the quality and efficiency of my efforts. If you know of a generic "order of process list," i would be grateful. Thanks again.

Can't say thank you enough for the chapter's/time stamps. I know it adds extra time for you (or editor) to get it rendered. There's a lot to unpack in this video. Much appreciated. After hearing you on a recent-ish 2 part podcast refer to your tank color palette project, I had to rewatch those dust effects and color choices couple of times. Wasn't sure if the camera wasn't picking up much in the orange side of dust, or if was a choice to stay on the yellow side on purpose (apparently was). Fantastic end result looks like it should lend itself well to using bit of an orangish dusting and a similar yellow style as you did. Really makes me want to try a similar salt spray effect on ship hulls. Know it was a PITA to get on film, thanks much for the effort. Inspirational.

You may want to try a dollar store makeup brush. They are soft and leave a nice feathered effect for dust. It will cut out a ton of blending problems. They also can be used to do great smoke and oil trails. They are also Designed to be used on their end. Great series of videos. Can't wait for the Tamiya F4. I'm waiting for a D model myself because it's what my uncle was shot down in on mission in Vietnam. Looking forward to the AAR portion of your next video. More people need to do it and be honest about it.

Inboard side of tires and wheels get a bit shiny due to hydraulic leaks from brake caliper. Aluminum when scuffed, walked on, tend to polish a bit shiny. Quite hard to replicate with paints, so use bare metal foil, keep clears off part of it. But your paint work is fucking great!

This has been an excellent how-to all of the way through - great work ! gGven the end result, were the HGW rivets worth the time and effort. If you had to do it again, would you consider using the rivet sets ? Camera's have their limitations...

I'd only use them in areas where I'd be scuffing them back.

Would you consider doing a video on the brushes you are using, your favorites, etc? I have a bunch that I get by with but I think you've been able to test and experiment more than I have. Could save some time and expense. Thanks and yet another great video. Really looking forward to building mine.

Will consider it - though when it comes to brushes I'm very much a barbarian. My only firm recommendation is to get a deerfoot stippler or three. They're amazing for oils and similar.

@@DoogsModels thanks. I know you're busy, just a thought. And trust me, my brushes get no special treatment. Lol. My airbrushes do, but not the hairy ones.
