Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am back and I want to know what you want us (you and me) to talk about. I hope to make these BPD & mental health videos more interactive. Let's talk. Because that is in the end the first step to recovery. So tell me in the comments below.
Talk soon.
Love,
Bas

I'm a self-diagnosed bpd because all my doctors tell me i'm too young to get diagnosed (18) but I still think that I'm a real borderline. Anyway, your videos have helped me a lot and I got worried when u were inactive for so long. Take care of yourself!!

Hi Buss !! Congratulations on your move. My husband has been in therapy for many yrs. My biggest problem what he seems to struggle with in therapy for now is the "I don't deserve what happens to me "the good stuff obviously" because he is VERY AWARE that he deserve ALL the BAD (which is not true but he does take responsibility for the shit he does and I'm told it's not very common bordeline I'm told but he takes it too the extreme! Often the problem is that if he makes a mistake (especially at work) he then blow's up because he can't forgive himself. Can you make a video on how to handle yourself when you are making small mistakes at work and not triggering yourself to a full on borderline crisis? Thanks!

Glad to hear you are doing well, and nice to see you again. I would like to see videos on how to deal with not getting the help that you need, and invalidating comments from health care professionals. Depersonalation and derealisation , BPD and C-PTSD because they are so confusingly similar.

I have major depression. anxiety that comes with panic attacks. I also have BPD and one thing that most people never heard of is Kallmann syndrome. Plus I am always tired I have been on disability for about 5 years now.I am 32 years old. I am losing hope. I get flash back on memories and now my memories are starting to feel like there not memories any more. Everyday I try to find the answer on how to fix myself. Since I know the only person that can fix me is me. But I have not found the answer. Disability gives me less than 1,000 dollars a month. Which make almost impossible to do anything. Since every thing cost money. I go to a shrink buy she really does not help me and I dont have a lot support. I know that everyones BPD is different. but could give me any pointers. I want to get back into the real world and work again. Because right now I have almost lost all hope for myself.

When I'm in a typical borderline mood, it's usually because I'm having conflicting needs. Like, on the one hand I get irritated by something someone did or said, and on the other hand I don't want to make a scene and bother anyone. Then that leads to wanting to feel supported and understood on the one hand, but wanting to be alone so I won't bother anyone with my bad mood on the other hand. And then that leads to me leaving the room, then getting angry about nobody coming to see what's the matter, and then when somebody does come see how I'm doing, getting angry about them not leaving me alone, and it's like, no matter what anyone does, I'll just take it as a reason to get angry at them anyway. I really don't know what to do with myself when I'm in a mood like that! How would you deal with that?

Hi Bas! I love your videos so much..they have really helped me understand my partner with BPD. thank you so much. A topic i would love to see you so a video on would be how to support your loved one when they are in push pull mode. Is it best to give them space? I know the pushing away has alot to do with feeling overwhelmed with emotions. I can't imagine how the pain of thinking you will be abandon might feel. What is the best way to be there for a loved one during those times? thanks Bas!!

hi! missed your face dude 💗 maybe could you do a video on recovering and losing your identity in BPD. i have bpd, even if initially my therapist didn't want to tell me my diagnosis because of the stigma (he didn't want me to feel sick, crazy or hopeless) and he just focused my attention on symptoms. On the other hand, i hardly needed to give them a name in order to be less confused and more aware about what was wrong with me. it was frustrating..

Hello. Please can you talk about what relationships with BPD individuals can be like and how you can deal with the various obstacles that get in the way? For instance when a BPD individual takes longer to move on to the next phase of a relationship than most people (i.e. meeting up from communicating over the phone). Do they get stuck in comfort zones easily or do they just need more time than others to move their relationship forward?

Hello, I've been thinking I might have separation anxiety and after watching your video I'm pretty sure I do. But I also feel like I'm not good enough and I have a hard time being myself around people so I have a hard time opening up and also haven't really made any new friends since I was a kid. (I still have a couple childhood friends) I was wondering if this is apart of separation anxiety? Or do I have another problem? 😂 Also I was wondering if you knew what caused separation anxiety? For some animals it's from being separated from your mom too young, is it the same for people? That would make sense since my parents worked a lot and when I was home they were usually stressed/tired, well at least since I can remember. But strangely enough, I feel like the problems have always been there but haven't really come out or become a real problem until after I had a really bad break up about 4 years ago. I keep thinking I'm going to get better, but I think there's something deeper than just a bad break up
