I was stubborn for 5 years. I kept trying and fighting for a relationship with non believer despite all the red flags God revealed to me. Ended up to be the biggest broken heart moment in my life. It’s been a year and still processing. In the name of Jesus, I will get the best from Him ❤️

1. Bad communication together (no or hard to communicate, offending each other, not enjoyable) 2. Don’t complement each other (Col 3:18-19) 3. Bring temptation into each other’s lives 4. Life is pulling you two apart (eg both parties don’t want to sacrifice for the relationship)

Indeed! In a marriage, your spouse is your other half; a part of you. If you do not love yourself, you can not love your spouse, no matter how much you think you do. Moreover, when you struggle to love people, ask God for His love and it will flow through you out to others.

The Lord will never miss lead you ever, He is not human that he can lie. If one is seeking the Lord being led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus can, show you and tell you who your spouse is. But it does not always mean that the other half is ready. There can be a waiting season. And yes the Holy Spirit does not always reveal who your spouse is. Every situation is different. When the Lord brings people together it is for His purpose. All this comes together if you are truly being led by His Holy Spirit. The Lord takes this very seriously. It took me years to understand. A marriage is so sacred to the Lord.

I am 36 years old and i have yet to date a man that has not tried to lead me to sexual sin. These men were proclaimed 'Christians' and aware of my desire to be abstinent until marriage. At this point, i am discouraged and starting to believe that i have to either choose men or standards, because it seems i can't have both. The church is always teaching that 'marriage is God's idea, but ppl don't talk enough about the shortage of Godly men to marry. It's disheartening at this point.

2 Timothy 3:2- 5 is alive today for sure. Don't give up. Stand fast in Jesus. Don't make my mistake falling for it as it's better to be lonely waiting in Jesus than live in abuse. If they're willing to lead a Godly woman astray, it doesn't stop with you down the road. Besides, it's our calling to discern where we're being led. Hold fast. God is so good!

My Ex-Girlfriend and I had great communication and we complimented each other. We had a few mistakes with number 3 but we repented of that and moved on. Then with number 4, she's going in one direction of desiring singleness and dealing with past trauma. I'm left hurt because I wanted our relationship to work.... I really thought we had something special :(

Take it one day at a time, pray, read your Bible, and don't contact her. I say don't contact her because emotions are running high and emotions can make you do and say some crazy. I made up this new phrase: allow God to be your telephone. Instead of rushing to contact her by text, social media, or phone call, talk to her through God. That's what couples did before the 1950s and many couples did before the 1970s. It worked out pretty good for them.

@eve3363 I've been doing a good job of not contacting her for the past 4 days now. But now my question is regarding social media, she can still look at my stuff, is that okay? I'm not directly messaging her. I put my content up and she's able to see it if she chooses to look at it. Regarding hers, I've muted her on her facebook and instagram so I don't see any of her posts, plus I'm deciding to just take a break from using those for a little bit.

@@Naterade719 Best advice is to not worry about what she's doing and what she's thinking. You will drive yourself insane doing this (I know from personal experience). We can never truly know what someone is thinking or what's in their hearts. Only God knows that. So allow Him to do His job and guide you to joyous and faithfilled life while you do your job, remaining faithful and subservient to Him. Our relationship with God is our first true adult relationship. Once we get it right with Him, we can truly understand what love means.

If she wants you after you leave and do your own thing, she will seek you. You never reap in the season you sow. You've sowed your seed into her. Let God water it so you can rest in peace. He will bring your harvest. Remember though. Not every seed that God provides farmers will make it to harvest. He will provide you an overabundance of seeds so you can share in your sowing with others, and He will bring an abundant harvest for you to share with others as well.

Regarding the 4th point, I believe there's a difference between sexuality and intimacy within a relationship. Depending on the couple's comfort zones with each other, some forms of physical intimacy may be accepted by each other (consent needs to stated by BOTH people!), even without explicitly having sex. I still believe that it would be better for me to wait until marriage to have my first time, but when it comes to other forms of intimacy, I know where my partner and I stand on the matter. ❤

Love is a choice, not a feeling. Jesus commanded us to love each other and to love our enemies. That means love isn't a feeling. If you are looking to experience a feeling of emotion, I would self assess yourself first. Couples married for decades don't feel emotion anymore at times, but they experience deep love. That's why it's hard to get over someone who has left either by choice or by death. It's because we still choose to love those who are gone and that love causes us to miss them.

@@KBowWow75 I see your point and yes there are many couples, including my parents, that fit your description, although, they didn’t “chose” to love each other when they first met. I understand that being newly in love and married are different things, especially when you talk about “deep love” that comes later in the relationship, but I think it has to start with - ideally - an attraction. So yes, Jesus commands us to love one another, but if you’re saying that as long we “chose” to love someone, eventually that relationship will evolve to deep love, I disagree. Not that I have that much of life experience but personally I can’t chose to love someone (romantically) if I don’t enjoy being with that person, like Mark is talking about. Also, if I’m supposed to stand by my future husbands side, shouldn’t we share the same goals and dreams? But do tell me what you think, I'd really like to hear other points of views. God bless

Thank you, I already knew who my soulmate is, but it has been an unbelievable journey with all kinds of trails and tribulation. God is intentional. Through it all, there were times when doubt and not understanding tried to undermine what I knew in my heart and soul to be true. Satan is real, and he works hard to stop what God has ordained. Listening to this video, I am convinced without any doubt that I will be married to my soulmate. The one God has chosen for me and me for him. God is a wonderful God. My suggestion would be to view "soulmate" as the person you eventually marry, not one singular person that is the only person for you. This distinction allows you the freedom to date many people in the Lord, then settle down with one. Instead of trying to shoehorn one particular person into your life.

I hope can answer this for me. If the communication isnt very enjoyable to me, but good communication is there, is that okay? Because i find that i dont enjoy the conversations that much and it’s been bothering me and now i hear these tips & im more concerned…

When me and my ex fell into sexual temptation we repented and asked God to forgive us then we moved on from it..!but he suddenly broke up with me bc he didn’t like that I’ve been with other men in the past. I really thought he was the one, we both strengthened each other’s faith and he even gave me a promise ring and I met his family. Now he blocked me and told me to stop messaging him. I’ve been struggling so much with this and idk what to do bc I still have hope for us… I wish God would just tell me if he’s the one or not so I can move on.

The same thing happen to me. We stopped practicing sexual sin and he said we should split He said he loves me and still wants to marry me but he can't be in a relationship without sex.

Acceptance is a powerful tool. Accept what he is saying to you and ask God to break the soul tie, from having sex with him and move on from him. You're causing yourself more pain by trying to hang onto someone who does not want you. And, men are very different from women. A man can "pretend" to be all you want him to be because he has a goal and that goal is to have sex with you. Once he's accomplished his goal, it's easy for him to break up with you and use the excuse that he just can't get past all the sexual temptation between you. Ask God to heal your heart and stay with God until He does. Blessings

Sometimes we make mistakes on who we choose but people are quick to say any relationship can be fixed and that's why we stay with people abusive and no attraction emotionally and sexually ect. I guess we just have to live with our choices.

What if you have a child with them and they are a believer but are toxic due to childhood trauma (he saw his father beat his mom) so he has angry and abusive tendencies. He also has been oppressed by a spirit of adultery for as long as I can remember. I have prayed so much for him but there is too much pain involved.

This may be a harsh reality to face, but no matter how much you pray or try to "fix" him, your own well-being matters. FAR more than his, you and your child need to seek out support and get out as soon as possible. Some people just aren't worth the heartache, and I can say wholeheartedly that God would want you to be with someone who can provide safety for both you and your child.

im a Jew and I met a christian girl. And out of 4 signs, 3 red flags. She would also still entertain other men I tried sharing to her the gospel, book of John chapter 1. As we read the bible, she got upset and she says im scary. (Seriously she is a christian but i literally know her bible more than her entire family and church)... Also she is a christian but she cant even say JESUS in public or with someone.. So i did my best to stay away from her. I prayed to Yeshua to remove her from me AGAIN and AGAIN But now she is still talking with me.. i dont want this. Im confused to be honest. I dont even know if this is a trap of the enemy or what. All i know is im in a pit, i need to get out Please i need advice

What do you mean by you settle? I am a bit unclear. However, you do realise that marriage is not limited to just one race. Sure I understand that we all have our preferences but still it should not be considered settling if you marry someone outside your race or cultural background, it is considered settling when you marry someone outside God’s will for you. Ps: we are all one race under God’s grace

God doesn't care who you end up with, as long as you are equally yoked. God has a whole universe to run. He doesn't have time to cater to your happiness or play matchmaker. You have been given a heart and a brain. Use it, and figure some things out for yourself. God doesn't care about your romantic feelings.

God does care. Have you read the bible? He died for each person… poured out His own blood. Each person who comes to Christ has been predestined before the world began. God cares. You have a finite view of Him.

@@jeffwickham7041 God is unlimited, but maybe He doesn't care about as much as you think He does. Hell, some Christians expect God to tell them what to wear in the morning, what to have for breakfast, and they refuse to make any decision for themselves ( the thought being, that they can justify any decision, as God told them to do it). Why even have a brain if God needs to do everything for you?

What you describe here is actually Diesm. In contrast, the Christian understanding of God is that he absolutely personally cares about every single thing about each one of us. Jesus himself said our Heavenly Father knows when every hair on our head falls. He absolutely cares about every single detail of our lives, and orchestrates everything no matter how seemingly insignificant. Everything about us interests Him, and He wants to be a part of it all.

@@lld3007 So if God orchestrates every single thing, then He allows son to happen, meaning that He is negligent for not stopping sin happening. Either God is responsible for everything, means that He allows sin to happen, or the human race have choice, and therefore are responsible for their own decision, their own sin. Can't have it both ways. If God is involved with every single aspect for life, then He is responsible for every single son being allowed to happen. Can't take all the praise but none of the blame.
