I truly cannot wait to see what will happen after Ace Fest. I mean, we all know it will be a bust but the part I look forward to is their response and how they will likely: claim that the venue was at fault for things going wrong, that people are lying and that “haters” showed up just to make things look bad, that the failure was the art fair’s fault, that they were misinformed about things, etc. Cannot wait!!!

If I’m being honest this is something a lot of people used to do a decade ago. When I was 8 my grandpa had me driving a real car on the highway and in town and he controlled the pedals. Is it dangerous? Yes, I totally is and nowadays I don’t think there’s an excuse to be doing that but years ago it’s just what we all did. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think the golf cart thing specifically isn’t actually that big of a deal in my opinion, if Austin was there the whole time and paying attention he could easily keep the child safe the same way my grandpa kept us safe when he would let me drive.

@@TheGingerCatFilms the difference between when you were a kid and now is electronics. Too many people now are texting and driving, watching videos, movies, messing with their screen on the dash, etc…driving when we were kids was already a risk but it’s even more so now. All it would have taken was one distracted kid looking at their phone and BAM! It’d be a miracle if they survived. Golf carts are basically a tin can. You have no seatbelts, no framing to protect you, and you aren’t able to travel at the normal speed limits. There is a reason why it’s illegal to drive them in the road like this and it’s solely to keep everyone safe. I don’t necessarily agree with what your grandfather did since he took you on the highway and through town but you are correct that their mindsets were different back then. Our grandparents generation grew up without seatbelts in the cars and would hold their babies in the front seat 🤷‍♀️ But the point is that our traffic laws are more strict now because we have made driving safer…as long as everyone follows the laws. Regardless anytime you put yourself on the road you’re accepting the risk that someone could wreck into you. As an adult Austin knows this and still decided to endanger his kids. I’ve seen parents lose custody of their kids for much less. Also want to say I’m so jealous that your grandpa sounds so awesome lol. My grandparents died when I was extremely young and they lived on the opposite side of the country. So I only met my dad’s dad one time and I didn’t see my mom’s dad after age 4. I love hearing stories about other peoples experiences with their grandpas. They sound so cool and don’t really give a crap what anyone says lol. I find it amazing that you have memories like the one you stated above to hold onto 💙

I think the way they did the golfing cart thing was dangerous, but when I was a kid it was always a fun thing to go to a parking lot and drive the car (my dad would control the pedals I would just steer), so I think what they did is only bad because the kid was using the pedals as well and it was in an area with other drivers and cars.

I’ve personally never seen two people as delusional as these two. I feel like they genuinely think they’re capable of these massive ideas but actually have no idea how much planning and effort goes into these big events. The golf cart thing I have mixed feelings about because on one hand LA traffic is pretty dangerous and hectic, on the other I did the exact same thing as a kid me and the neighbor kids all of us 6-11 yrs old sped around on a rickety 90s golf cart but it was rural georgia

I think this is a case of not understanding that not every memory or moment you share with your child should be broadcasted to the world. Yes, it was dangerous. But most parents who make core memories with their kids do stuff like this. I think if it was in a safer location, that would have been a great experience for the kids. But with Family Channels, they don't know what Privacy means. Only people who feel they deserve Privacy is typically the paretns. Who in THIS case really need to learn and accept what they're not good in; criticism isn't always bad; everyone is not best in everything; mistakes are lessons, but some lessons mean "stop" My opinion of course

i think the closest my family let a 6 year old "drive" is my 6 year old brother on my dad's lap. My dad was in control of the pedals, his feet were not no the gas or break. So all my brother was doing was steering a car going 1mph in an empty parking lot

I had a dream about the ACE family last night. I made a video on their controversies, and in retaliation they started to harass and blackmail me and my family, and Katherine forced me to babysit the kids and it was honestly a genuine nightmare that made me wake in a cold sweat.

They’re either going to film the art fair and claim it was the ace fest or they are straight up selling tickets to the art fair at an inflated price. Why else would they choose the exact same day as the art fair to hold their event?
