My channel is a resource for helping you reduce suffering in daily life through the application of root level solutions. This is advocated with orientating toward Awakening/Non-Dual awakening, Source-code emotional integration using somatic (emotional) inquiry and taking on an empirical, open hearted investigation of core beliefs and perceptual overlays that innocently accrue in childhood and create suffering.
If you resonate with teachers such as Angelo Dilullo, Ramana Maharishi, Jeff Foster, Suzanne Chang, Violet Synergy, Joseph Goldstein, Scott Kiloby, Michael Taft and Adyashanti - you’ll find this material very relatable.

Sam this is going to sound odd coming from someone all too familiar with this. But, I find as I’m listening, I’m not looking or expecting a how-to or a solution. Instead, Im just stopped. I didn’t realize others went through this particular torture. Usually I add on guilt and judgement for even experiencing it. May we all see. ♥️ Thank you for this one Sam.

How fantastic....for years I have been doing meditation & yoga & spiritual studies and being totally perplexed as to why in early morning I would have negative thoughts, frightening dread about everything (it was such a contrast to the bliss states)....I'm now going to study this video & put into practice these ideas. Thank you so much.

Hey Sam, this is Brian. I believe we were in Kentucky together. Robert just sent me your 'morning anxiety' video and having watched it, I wanted to thank you for making and sharing it. More than any I recall watching, this spoke to me *personally*, to where I'm at, to how and when I'm struggling the most, esp upon waking, (exactly as you described)! And it was comforting to know that you've been through, and are maybe still going through, the same or similar. I've been experiencing tension lately in my hips and "third eye" area, and there's often an associated story. With your prompting, I sent them both love, and then a big smile came to the face and they softened. I keep forgetting and remembering that unconditional love and acceptance is always the answer to life & its challenges. Lastly, I don't remember ever leaving a comment on a KZfaq video, so that should demonstrate the sincerity of this message and my gratitude to you for this compassionate advice and sharing.

When you wake up in the morning your cortisol (stress hormone) levels are at their highest and peak around 7am. It's a natural response to get you up, starting tasks and staying focused. Unless of course you focus on the feeling too much and disable yourself.

I feel like my anxiety and trauma makes me socially awkward and people treat me kinda badly because they see me as weak and charmless. This is why I take pills 😂, anxiety meds make me better socially and have good experiences in the world especially with women. Wish I didn’t have to rely on them though tbh.

@SamRoff
@SamRoff 10 күн бұрын
@@Magicalfluidprocess In the video I talked about how it is showing you how to not buy into catastrophizing thoughts and thoughts in general, shows you non reactivity (which will translate into daily life) and helps bring you in deep, ongoing, intimate contact with your bodily sensations so you can integrate and metabolize reactive things occurring through the day more readily and on an ongoing basis. So it teaches embodiment. I know it sucks, but through those learning’s it gets better and better and is ultimately grace. If that isn’t a teacher, I don’t know what is ;)

@@SamRoff thanks for responding Sam , but I don’t see the how of those things , I don’t see the Way in which my morning anxiety teaches me not to buy into my thoughts, I feel as though you are just saying it will , but with no clear instructions, apologies if I’m being a bit ignorant, can you put it into 2 sentences? Thank you for what you do 👍
@SamRoff
@SamRoff 9 күн бұрын
@@Magicalfluidprocess fair. 2 sentences We have unskillful ways of interacting with morning anxiety in the morning which creates suffering. We can either resist, push against it and suffer more (which is often how it is before we begin to adapt and work with it); or we can learn from what it has to teach us by softening resistance, deidentifying from thoughts that would otherwise exacerbate our pain and learn to be in more compassionate, loving contact with our bodily sensations when we experience real suffering.
