He could be given enough power to make it worth his while. Also it would be fun to watch the Morphei meet each other. (The plural of a Latin or Greek word ending with 'us' is usually changed to an 'i', so I figured with Morpheus being a Greek god, this was probably acceptable.)

I still think it would make more sense and be more narratively satisfying if Zion fell not to a Sentinel invasion...but from within. Much like how the machines fought each other for dwindling resources as too many humans were being released, so too could Zion have suffered food, water and space shortage from the sudden influx of people it was never designed to house, leading to a collapse of civil order and different factions branching off to fight for their own agendas. Morpheus's greatest tragedy could be failing to protect the people he helped free from themselves and each other.

I hope not. They already ruined Neo, Trinity, and the Merovingian with the last movie. They should make new stories, like some from Animatrix, but full-length, if you want old characters back, recreate the story of Matrix Online :D

Agreed M5 should return to incorporate the original Morpheus. 💯 As a movie, some people seem to underestimate the importance of the original Morpheus (Fishburne). We were pulled into the story because of his dream, his narration and his determination to find The One hence in the last scene in M1 and the HALLWAY climax of Morpheus' realisation when he thrillingly says "He's The One!". WE are there with Morpheus in jubilation when we find out with him. ----- In M3 we begin to feel DISMAY for Morpheus as it seems his dream is UNRAVELLING which is almost where a lot viewers drifted as the FOCUS NEEDS to REMAIN with Morpheus as a NARRATOR of his DREAM for which Neo, Trinity and the original agent Smith are integral in playing out and make for a great film and story.

Not sure where this belongs but I was always a fan of Epoch and Switch. Even with the small amount of time they had in the first movie they’ve been more or less my favorite characters. I always felt there was a lot more to them that obviously never made it to the movie. I’ve looked for some further information on them but never got too far.

Funny how both the Oracle and Morpheus vanish roughly at the same time. Perhaps Matrix V will tell that story or even pick up with it after the events of Matrix Resurrections. Also, Matrix Resurrections was not called the Matrix IV but this movie is being labeled as Matrix V. Just another little thing to wonder about.

I never understood why everyone assumes there is only one matrix system with all the humans. Why not have multiple separate matrix systems, each with their own Neo. We don’t see many other cities other than New York and possibly San Francisco at the end of 4.

It would be great if they renewed the cast and characters to improve upon from the beginning. The story needs to evolve, but if they insist on bringing old characters like Morpheus back to life I probably wouldn't complain.

How did the trainman create the station between the machine world and the matrix? Why was Neo powerless there?

Mobile Ave (The Station) was a server separate from the actual simulation (The Matrix) so Neo's source code had no teeth in that realm so to speak. He mistakenly "jacked in" into Mobile Ave when he touched the sentinel at the end of reloaded in the real world. If you remember, the humans also have areas within virtual space like the fighting dojo where they learn and practice their abilities. And when Neo asks Morpheus in the first movie "This isn't the matrix?" When they were in the agent training program. I believe the Trainman wrote Mobile Ave as a separate program from the Matrix just like humans write their own programs for various trainings. Hope this kinda addresses your questions. P.S just a side note, I've played through the video game Path of Neo and in one of the training missions you play through, Tank (The Neb Operator) takes away your ability to know martial arts, so you are forced to use only guns. This is more evidence I think that the Trainman did the same thing in Mobile Ave, he made everyone that is trapped in his program weak and ineffective against him. Have a great day.

Will the real Morpheus return? No. Not unless you use CGI with stunt doubles. And you'd either need to create a new interesting role for him or just retread the originals, where he got less things to do with each movie.

These characters would be too old and Morpheus is already dead. Niobe already looks like a walking corpse. The timelines just don't make sense, unless your going to go the clone route that Neo and Trinity did.

It's going to be difficult to reviver from the damage cause by M4 but the nature of the matrix story is such that it actually could be with relative ease. I just hope they go back to their roots and bring the cast, look and feel everyone liked about the original trilogy. Whatever that arthouse nonsense was, it wasn't the matrix.

A lot of people may not care, however more Matrix content is welcome because I'm hoping we get a new Matrix game, preferably an RPG down the line. It would be like a match made in heaven.
