So lovely to catch up with you and hear about all these gorgeous yarns! I was especially interested in the hand dyed ones, since I'm a new hand-dyer myself. But I focus on plant fibers, so it's nice to learn more about the different types and uses of wool. I love sheep and goats so I'll have to go follow these mills on Instagram!

Thank you for a lovely episode especially about the Scottish Wool Showcase show in Perth. So many beautiful Scottish yarns, very inspiring . I am knitting my son the three bridges hat by Wee County Yarns and loving it. Might need to get another for me. Enjoying all your wonderful podcasts past and present, thank you again 😊

Oh, you come as sent from above. Im am going to Edingburgh end of april for an externship at the vet shool, and I can't go to Scotland (perhaps it like crossing the river to get water cause scandinavian yarn is also beautyful) and not bring some yarn with me home.I will look at the lammermuir wool. I hope they can ship it to my accomodation. Best regards Birgitte Caning, Denmark

Thanks, Amy for another lovely video. I watched it with mixed feelings. Sad because after Brexit it became too expensive to buy British wool in Belgium (and I used a lot of them as I love BFL and Gotland) but also happy to hear that the Scottish wool industry is thriving. Fingers crossed that Scotland becomes independent and maybe a EU-member again 😊

Hey Amy, I tried to subscribe to the newsletter of the Scottish Wool Festival to get informed about the ticketsale for September. That didn‘t work and on the internet site is an information that all tickets are sold. Is that correct? I‘m traveling to Scotland in September and the festival is one point to visit…

Best thing to do is to get in touch h with Eva. Tickets for the September event are not released yet, so definitely not sold out! The tickets for the Showcase did sell out before the day, and I suspect that’s what the message in the website is referring to.

Hello Heidrun. There was a technical hiccup between our website host and wordpress on 1 April which affected our menu. This was resolved quickly once we became aware of the issue which just happened to coincide with the upload of this special episode. We replied to your email this morning and would like to reassure you that tickets for September are not sold out as we haven't released them yet.
