An updated version of my mushroom creation.
The stem is composed with a thin layer of streusel, a moist vanilla almond Financier sponge, a fresh strawberry compote trapped in a delicious vanilla mousse and dipped into a thin layer of white chocolate, the cap is composed with a layer of strawberry gelification, a soft strawberry cremeux, vanilla mousse, a crunchy layer of Swiss meringue and a thin layer of red glaze and white streusel.

My son and I are both Chefs. We came across your show and sat in awe of your incredible skills and talent. What struck me is how incredible you are with your students. The patience it requires for you to create your masterpieces is expressed with all of your interactions with them. When I see other people make realistic cakes, they just have a basic cake, covered in fondant. And I think there’s no way anyone is eating that and finishing it, most of what they make is probably thrown out. This is why I love your channel because you make cakes with the intent of them being delicious.

Amanita Muscaria are only mildly poisonous at best. Likely not poisonous at all. I have eaten them myself, cooked along with potatoes they are decent eating but there are certainly more tasty options.

Real life Willy Wonka. What sets him apart is that this isn’t just sculpting modeling chocolate and other things to make visual art from edible ingredients- you can tell without even knowing the flavors that these are well-thought-out pairings of ingredients to create sonething with complex layers of tastes- and textures!- to delight the palette. Meaning not only do they *look* stunning, but they probably actually *taste* stunning, unlike most of the other visually amazing food creators out there. That’s impressive.
