You obv don’t watch football. He scored 20+ goals and double figures assists in 19/20 and 20/21. Before that he was a teenager and still managed 20+ g/a while being one of our best players. 21/22 had a back injury and surgery and only got 5 goals. Aside from that he’s scored against all the big teams we play and constantly one of our best players. You genuinely have no idea.

I remember a young Cristiano Ronaldo had the same problem at Utd the coaching staff would say he's trying to score the perfect goal everytime, after he got over that he went onto produce incredible numbers, I'm not saying Rashford would/could do that, I love Rashford but it's about time he started producing consistently now he's going to end up like Lingard where at in his late 20's people still speak about him as a young player.

Didn't he score 25 or something 2 seasons before last? As far as i remember, he has been very consistent for United. It's just that one season where he played through an injury he didn't perform. That being said i don't like his attitude currently. Especially his off the ball workrate. He's not at the Ronaldo level to get his privileges. So i kinda agree with Rory. When he's not scoring, he's not offering anything to the team to justify his selection. But if he does get his form back and he's not included in the team. Then it is a problem for Southgate. Better to have him and not need him than to need him and not have him.

Listen I'm a lifelong Man Utd fan and I love Rashford when he broke through I saw something on him that I saw in Ronaldo when he was at Utd around the age of 18-21. Rashford has ot in him, but rather than try and score perfect goals all the time emulating Ronaldos Knuckleball free kick he needs to learn how to adapt his game to play as a number 10 and as a number 9. He just needs to do the basics and get the ball in the net. I agree with you and that goes for the whole Utd squad they all need to take a look at there performances and up it. I still hear people speak about Rashford as a young player he's not that at all he's a seasoned pro, he's played in multiple major tournaments, he's played in finals at club level, he made his debut what 8 years ago under LVG. He needs to be a footballer first and start putting the ball in the net he has the talent, weather its a lack of motivation or bad attitude I don't know but somethings not right in the squad

He is just a good left winger, and that's it. He never has been more than that, and in all probability, he never will be anymore. There are things he can work on to improve his game to evolve into more of a team player. He is just too one-dimensional, through balls at pace behind a high line. Ten Hag's preferred system of play would not have a Rashford type player in it.
