@@cloudyeyes5507 not necessarily. Johnny got his ass beat by the kim sun yung senseis but got up and beat them out of sheer willpower. Daniel was balanced and was a little drunk here and he still beat silver who wasn't drunk and was in rage mode and his style is powerful if he's enraged.

I really wanted some more flashbacks on how Terry became a manipulative villain. Kim SunYungs teaching is just the half of it. I wanna see how Terry fought his way up to acquire his family fortune. I bet Silver came from a rich family and blackmailed his way up to an inheritance. Helping out Kreese to run the Cobra Kai Business.

@J Brandon Diploma in the show they explain that silver just inherited his father's business basically as a birth right. I really found the flashback actor and version of silver to be really boring. Really only Thomas Ian Griffith can play the character properly, so having a different actor portray how terry became silver in karate kid 3 would be a waste to me.

What's funny to me is that the taekwondo instructor I used to train under introduced me to these 3 rules long before I got into Karate Kid lore. Just goes to show how effective these methods can be, you just have to be careful on how/when you use them

TIG here was 27 years old at the time, but his Terry Silver was a Vietnam vet in his early to mid-30s in 1985. Silver was cartoonishly evil here, but he matured by the time of Cobra Kai.

Daniel later used QuickSilver method with few alterations of Miyagi do moves. Miyagi san has stated that "somedays they'll be your own ways". Off course that QuickSilver move was used against Terry Silver in Season 5 Cobra Kai.
